Playing with the grenade changes the dot tick reduction could be something.
But even with 2s ticks rather than 3s ticks the issue that I find is that even maxed grenade the damage from acid bomb, frag grenade, and sticky bombs is just too low. 1 friction burn really is almost the same dps as the three combined.
If it worked for all dots. It could be tremendous. As it stands you can do some nasty spike with a grenade tinker build, if you got the support to play it.

Somehow I'm not allowed to make a new post with my testing stuff.
The Grenadier buff also works on friction burn and makes it deadlier. But that it is. Napalm, keg, Rod are not affected and this is wanted by the devs.

I feel like there's more tinkerer now !
But are you playing aoe close quarter build or full support build ?
By full support I mean AP tactic , keg , interrupts caster , increase cast time , magnet , and not focusing on damages

I feel like we got too much power now don't you ?
I'm full def , having around 400 Bs , and not any offensive buff except the 40% from turret .
Even with no offensive stats and à build only made for buffing teammate , I still make a lot of kills, I'm still able to solo à We , a Mara or a choppa easily sometimes 2 at times .

On what turret?
Flame only gives you Dodge and Disrupt. Nothing which would help you against We or Mara.
Do you go Grenadier?

Because Flame Turret gives you dodge and disrupt.
AoE Cap or AoE range increase hardly helps against singel targets.
So if you fight vs WE and Mara you have the same chances as two weeks ago.
Your only help ist that SH or other ranged classes who want to hit you while you deal damage to the WE or Mara are hindered.
So why do you think you got too much power if you have the same power as two weeks ago?
