Armor is a tiny bit below 4000 if I recall correctly. Can go as high as 4200 with Tuff As Nails if I’m in a pinch. Initiative sits at around 180, with 2 in Futile Strikes. I sit at about 6% to be crit. With a zealot buff that gives somewhere around 4% and if your initiative stat steal goes off you go as low as 0.0%. I always used to run at least 600 toughness and if I run Rugged rather than Im Da Biggest then I sit at about 620 toughness, but I had a change of heart recently. I always noticed that I’d be getting targeted by un-mitigatable moral damage from Bright Wizards/Engies/White Lions etc. so I’ve been experimenting with the racial tactic for a bit to see how it fairs.
Resists I usually just slot 1 of the Winds Impervious gems depending who I’m fighting against and rely on my group mates for a resist buff. The extra resists from Beastlord items also help out here to help reach the resists softcap. I can’t softcap every resist stat unfortunately so I get by with just having one or two of them softcapped.
I’ve always imagined the BO as an offtank with really good damage (for a tank) to assist your melee dps guard target. At least 750 STR is always my aim for the Black Orc, anything below that and I just feels like I’m tickling them. With my morale 2 + Saving Me Hide, I can still give myself around a 260 toughness buff if I want. The skills that the BO has to offer makes me feel that he we would be a waste as anything other than an offtank DPS assist which maintains high amounts of pressure/CC/debuffs to targets. I don't feel that you need to build him super tanky to do your job well.
I would never run the healing tactic in a serious environment either, waste of a tactic slot in my opinion. The heal isn’t that good, but I guess it would be fun for a joke build to be healing everyone for a bit. I think the max I could get from the healing tactic is 110HP for everyone within 100ft every 3 seconds. I think the best healing I've done in a SC is something like 30K with (5) Conq and the tactic.
