New RvR system vs Old RvR system Poll

IPs can be spoofed very easily and some people have dynamic ones

Just give players a -50% penalty to XP/Inf/renown for the first 20 minutes after they log in. This will, at least, stop those players who log in just for a zone flip.Azarael wrote:IPs can be spoofed very easily and some people have dynamic ones
After 20 minutes they gain everything at a normal rate. After an hour they get a 50% bonus, and after 2 hours+ they gain a 100% bonus. This will make people WANT to stay in their realm and not switch characters constantly.
Re: New RvR system vs Old RvR system Poll
I would really know if there is anyone who play not because he likes the char or realm, but only to be the "X-realmer".Coryphaus wrote:Well that's the nature of free accs cause even if you put a timer to stop xrelming people can just make a second acc with toons of a diffrent realm and log that
At the same time it's possible for a "loosing faction" to dey a keep just by stealing bos
I thnk majorit of players already pick up theyr sides and grew a little bit hate to the oposite one

If you can't play for more than 20 minutes after logging in, this is the wrong genre of game for you.Azarael wrote:Very next day....Penril wrote:Just give players a -50% penalty to XP/Inf/renown for the first 20 minutes after they log in. Still, maybe you could give them the penalty ONLY IN RVR LAKES. But the penalty would not apply in SCs or PvE. After all, if a player can only play for 20 minutes that gives him barely enough time to do 1 or 2 SCs, tops. 20 minutes is soo short for RvR.
Also, the aim is to stop zerging. And zerging only happens in the RvR lake, not SCs.
Re: New RvR system vs Old RvR system Poll
I think is a good ideia to introduce the timer we used to have in live, if the ppl wana do a fast x-realm they need to make an 2nd acount and lvl the toon or wait for the timer.
But the most important thing here is to make a point that x-realming is not a normal way to play this game, maybe you can fix the x-realm chat too
does not seems correct we can chat with order or vice versa.

I actually enjoy being able to talk with the other realm. As long as it doesn't become a trollers issue. For now, it is a nice roleplay addition, and people seems to enjoy it in general.Ossos wrote:I think is a good ideia to introduce the timer we used to have in live, if the ppl wana do a fast x-realm they need to make an 2nd acount and lvl the toon or wait for the timer.

Play X-realm is not a normal way to play this game yes so we need to reflect about this problem.Ossos wrote:I think is a good ideia to introduce the timer we used to have in live, if the ppl wana do a fast x-realm they need to make an 2nd acount and lvl the toon or wait for the timer.

What happens when your game crashes or you get dc? Do you keep the bonus?Penril wrote:

Add incentives to play the underdog side. Xrealming is no problem, it's a solution.
Mythic just went not far enough with aao. They added rewards but they missed to add mechanics for the outnumbered side to split the zerg and to slow down keep takes.
