Yes, indeed, cognitive dissonance. Since what they do is make them good in group play, and indeed don't pay much attention to solo. Cognitive dissonance should be the name of the server, to be honest.

The thing is that DPS healers have almost always been OP in small scale in every MMO, it's in the concept of hot/dot/ranged vs none healing classes that gives the advantage. Its not impossible but harder to balance(shaman/AM are weaker than they used to be).
But Stealth classes dont have to be OP, hence it's a shame that WE in particular never really went under the scrutiny lens of the RoR devs here.
So you hit the nail on the head with that comment, they telling us the game isn't about small scale yet buffing WE in a way that will certainly and mostly be abused and used by these single-target solo WE's feels like hypocrisy tbh, how else to interpret it?
If only the RP/ZLT gets adjusted now, I'm sure the developers are just playing around with the stealth class.

That's what I've been saying throughout this and other WE threads.
It's not just stealth classes that need adjusting; rDPS healers are also overpowered on a 1v1 / small-scale basis.

You're absolutely right. Honestly, when I play my RR86 DPS Shaman, I genuinely feel like I'm cheating. It's even worse on my Rune Priest when I switch to a DPS spec while still wearing my healing gear.
Stealth classes definitely need to be reworked, but the same goes for ranged hybrids. The worst part is that it's completely counterproductive. Why would anyone force themselves to play repetitive and often boring warband gameplay when they can progress much faster,and usually have a lot more fun,playing classes that are blatantly overpowered and often encourage toxic gameplay?

choppa is just a straight up stronger than WE in every way. I'm so confused. Not even saying nerf choppa. Is it just a low skill community? What's going on here. Would like some guidance.
