Its both a gift and a curse at the same time imo, it will make all other classes that are not shield tanks weaker and make shield tanks stronger, this will also be a nerf for 2 hander tanks defensive wise since parry is very viable and is the only defense stat that 2 hander relys on. Again this Change will only be for 2 hander apponents since 1 handers already the have it (ofc). Tho it will buff 2 hander damage wise becuase now we even have a bigger chance to bypass the duel wielder's but its a step in the right direction to make 2 hander more viable for tanks and make them more accurate to pickup the dps role.

So whats the option buff 2 handers against every class accept Shield tanks or keep it useless to anything but shield tanks?

He's talking about 10% parry strike through vs 10% block strike through. And the dilema of what to do with 2h. Nothing to see here. Carry on

The +crit chance/ damage idea got no consensus at all?
We will w8 last tier release for the change or aza is still collecting feedback?
This thread is so long (and quite spaced out with some power arguing), if some1 less lazy then me who followed the whole story could summarize i'd be very grateful :)

Base topic 10% parry strikethrough for 2H
20 pages people saying sure why not. At some point Bretin says it might be too good on WL. Idea scratched.
People are now trying to get a consensus for other changes to 2H.

you just need to label attack from guard when use 2h as parry + dodge or disrupt yea it may sound complicate but it could be done, a good contr would be how much would be matter on server memory usage instead.

But as i wrote in the case of BG 2h tanks would never have better defense than s+b tanks so this would just not make 2h tank better than s+b just more in line and not melt while under aoe.
