How about we disable conversion of currency so those low tier currencies are actually useful again?Akalukz wrote:Hargrim wrote:If you are not having fun than don't play.Zilinia wrote:Maybe give lowlvls something else in a gold bag or the other then like soldier medallion for a lvl 26, because that’s just waste when 1 conq medallion from a kill can give you 25 when you break it down :/ so that’s where I think it is not encouraging me at all to play on a low lvl toon
How about putting in some EXP scrolls or Renown Gain scrolls into those low level bags.

Re: Patch Notes 2/02/2018
That''s not a bad idea, but seems to be a step backwards. I have no skin in the game, i have the toons that I will play already 40, if/when there is a player wipe, then i will feel the pinch. I am just trying to suggest ways to incentives players (mainly new ones) to join one of the primary parts of the game RvR. Carrorts work well... the elusive hunt for the gold bag that would drop conq gear for a lvl 20 could often push them to get the rest... but i am not a dev so I can just offer ideas.... if you do get rid of the conversion I would just change it to a 1:1 up and down instead of all together getting rid of itwargrimnir wrote:How about we disable conversion of currency so those low tier currencies are actually useful again?Akalukz wrote:Hargrim wrote:

I'll add a minimum renown requirement to the boxes/satchels that enable conversion. At least that way if you keep your renown nice and high while leveling, you will be able to use them to finish a set that you haven't received yet, but will still block off getting a single Conq currency and buying a full set of T2 gear.Akalukz wrote:That''s not a bad idea, but seems to be a step backwards. Keep in mind, a while ago we significantly lowered how much the sets cost. Now that you're receiving currency appropriate for your tier in RvR, you should receive plenty to buy your sets anyway.

yea, i noticed buff disappear when u start a cast, no matter if u complete, u lose the buff..Scrilian wrote:I'm sort of over the nerf at this point, but the implementation is very poor. FF proc constantly just disappears 0.5 second into the cast even if you follow your target at the same speed in the straight line at a far enough range.tiarna wrote:change to flashfire (BW) is horrible.
was better increase the ICD to 5/6 sec that an useless casting time reduction.
Small stone on your way? Here's an interrupt and proc consumed due to 0.01sec fall from a micro-hill. I'd rather run Close Quarters from now on, at least it's sort of reliable. This is somehow is not to be considered a bug and doesn't belond on bugtracker >_<
aniway i stay on my idea at the moment, this change have an huge negative impact on BW, an increase of the Internal cooldown was better and simple to adjust.

You complain about a tactic most sorcs would take in an instant.tiarna wrote:yea, i noticed buff disappear when u start a cast, no matter if u complete, u lose the buff..Scrilian wrote:I'm sort of over the nerf at this point, but the implementation is very poor. The annoyance of little stones, where your casts are interrupted is not exclusive to BW. Every caster/rdps has this issue.
Dying is no option.
Re: Patch Notes 02/02/2018
I am complaining about poor implementation with proc utterly unreliable to the point of being useless - in the form of being consumed on cast start. I suggest you level a BW and test it for yourself before brushing this issue aside.Sulorie wrote: You complain about a tactic most sorcs would take in an instant.

Yeah, I have a rr60+ BW, and it's still in better state than Sorc so I don't know, maybe if you also lost Wildfire crit potential and Wounds buffs from WP and Crit increasers from SW/Knight, then maybe you would start getting closer down to Sorc levels? Oh, and maybe you want to trade Morals as well, I would love a damage doing Ruin and Destruction on Sorc, you can try our epic WindWovenShell meantime.Scrilian wrote:I am complaining about poor implementation with proc utterly unreliable to the point of being useless - in the form of being consumed on cast start. And if you hate Flashfire, could also trade that to our "mirror" tactic which is called Manic Obsession (since both tactics are gained at career rank 31...) , but I can tell you that Manic Obsession is so bad I don't ever remember having it on my tactic hotbar.
