No, the first debuff is the one that is removed always in the current system. In a system where the newest is removed the debuff that is cleansed is always changing.

This is a closely held secret... Don't give it away lolJaycub wrote:No, the first debuff is the one that is removed always in the current system.
Depends on what the healers can cleanse, going back to my last example with 3 classes using curses and 1 using ailments. Cleanse doesn't have to go through all the debuffs, it's only going to count the ones within its range.Bozzax wrote:2 cleansers vs 4 debuffers + passives really?

You leave out half my post and don't understand the context of what I am responding to? Nice one.Vigfuss wrote:This is a closely held secret... Don't give it away lolJaycub wrote:No, the first debuff is the one that is removed always in the current system.
You react to BB and cleanse it with one cleanse instead of having to go through 3? I guess I'm being too idealistic or whatever.bloodi wrote:What?Jaycub wrote:No, the first debuff is the one that is removed always in the current system. Think about what you just said, imagine a BW doing a normal immo rotation now, he goes Ignite-SB-BB so his BB is at least covered by 2 debuffs, you can even put a detonate it then for extra measure.
With the change your propose, people would go BB-SB-Ignite and the results would be the same, you remove the newest ones, so he can just continously mask it.
Its just in this instance, the TTk suffers because the best debuffs are put on the target asap, instead of having to wait to counter cleanses.
Having cleanses remove the oldest ones requires people to plan their rotations and what they mask with, if they cleanse the newest, is just put the good debuffs and try to pile them under a barrage of garbage.
But what benefit does that entail? Making people freak out and create addons that yell at you "BB/WoP is ON CLEANSE NOW"Jaycub wrote:You react to BB and cleanse it with one cleanse instead of having to go through 3? I guess I'm being too idealistic or whatever.
The point anyways is that you could get BB with one cleanse instead of many.
You miss the point we would drop HD at 0s and cover it up make it much more effective then it currently is.Jaycub wrote:Depends on what the healers can cleanse, going back to my last example with 3 classes using curses and 1 using ailments. Don't need to create anything. Nerfedbuttons can easily do that.bloodi wrote:But what benefit does that entail? The current cleanse system extends ttk, makes people think about what debuffs they use first and so on.
Your system just makes healers able to cleanse the key debuffs and there is like 1-2 guys at max using debuffs, as long as they dont suffer lag issues.
Its just a matter of what system its more benefitial to the game, i think the current one is quite better.
