I very like Azarael idea about Shrug It Off. I run my shaman with guild mates (6 man roaming party). Best result we have when I dance around 50 feet behind my meeles. And a zelot is 100 feet begin them. When I try to stand 80 feet my group die few times because I lost range for my FODG. Even if pressured I can cast I'll Take That very fast and cleans to build Gork Waaagh. It is very plesent feeling when oponents need to focus you do bring you down;)
Healing output is comparable to zelots (sc's charts).
I don't know why but for me as shaman it is better to work with zelotes than DoK's.
And now back to topics:
If Shrug will stack with Ain't Done Yetit will be huge buff. Plus 55% to your heal makes it counterplay for healdebuff. FODG can crit so I would by able to bring my whole party from the bottom. Definitely something I want to try.

This would be a good alternative to having access to a flash heal, something Shaman/AM sorely lacks and in my opinion makes them a pretty poor choice as a group healer. Shrug It Off is fairly unique as far as I know and this would define Shaman and Archmage much more as something worth taking.

Additionally, while I quite enjoy the new playstyle and find it to be actually decently performing, it still feels somewhat clunky. Any chance of making Fury of The Green's range 100ft to be consistent with everything else?

FoDG's range will be increased to 100ft as soon as we have client access to do it.

Having read through this thread, it still seems that any Destro healer who wants to be able to provide serious healing to their party should either roll a zealot or DoK, and avoid Shamans.

Going hybrid means less focus to healing, and also less serious as a dps; it was always the reason why shamans never excelled at either role. The word "specialize" exists for a reason.

Well, I still love the class and challenges it includes. :)

A Quick question. I play dps shammy with The taktic 10% crit on dps abilitys. My question, The Bonus crit Chance is displayed in Charakter screen. But on. Getstats IT is not shown. So does ist work or not?

You now got a choise of a high risk high reward build using lifetaps. Its grouphealing capabillity is amasing. But you loose a bit of the the focus as you need to concentrate on both offensive and defensive targets. So both the skill floor and ceiling is pretty high for this build. But you still got acess to a slighly nerfed version of the standard Morale boost build. But the classic. HoT, Cleanse, Burst spec is still acceseble.

As far as raw healing goes, a Fury of Da Green spec is now the best performance wise. In small and medium scale fights, you will heal the most if you can effectively manage your career mechanic to switch between group/single target heal and lifetaps. It is a lot harder than the standard playstyle. As roadkillrobin pointed out, both the skill floor and ceiling are quite high. Added bonus is that in this spec, you are an amazing duelist.

I want to point out that this playstyle, while very good in its own right, simply does not work in large scale RVR. The targeting issues, lag, framerate issues and 80ft range of Fury of Da Green (this will get buffed to 100ft once client access arrives) make this spec unviable in those situations. When it comes to large scale, you are reduced to sitting behind a corner spamming group heal still, sadly. If this is what you do most, the healing mastery tree is still the best.

Edit: Totally derped my reply at first

Edit 2: Here is what I run right now: RoR.builders - Shaman

So does the lifetap build use a diffrent career setup? Like maxing Path of Da Green?

I strongly recommend to try lifetap build. For my it's a waaaaay more funny than standard heal.

I run Mork (puddle and Shrug It Off)/Green (Fury of Da Green +Waagh Frenzy tactic). And silence if u have spare point.

To way to play - Bulid your Gork up to 5 ( by prehoting) and the use your I'll Take That and Fury. Cleans give you 1 point in Gork every 5 sec.
Second way: Dance between 1 Gork (and use lifetap) and 1 Mork (and use one of your long cast heal but with reduced cast time).

Like Thayli said avoid large scale fight.
