Kek'd. You do know that BG can easily reach 50%+ disrupt? This together with a 20% Parrychance .. mhh
and what's the problem we are talk about THEIR part fo the damage the dps still get his 50%

Because you know shield give you a base 30-40% block chance which apply for all attacks. is just normal that secondary stats are higer than block cos block can avoid ALL damages. parry only melee, dodge only r. physic and so on.

It also make 2h tank as elf/d.elf shine in disrupt which is something that didn't happened atm due hold the and s+b being the base for every tank and so they don't really exell ins omething when every tank can get a 70% dodge disrupt chance.

Guard damage is always a melee attack in front of you. So it can only be parried/blocked.

Programatically that is not a big problem to change. But the question is if that really will 'solve' anything :o

it can be 1 step to help 2h tank over guard damages. it's still better than being able to only parry all attacks.

defensive side it would be a good buff. Not OP, but couple it with the dodge buff from penril idea, you could also give a 15-20% dodge to 2h keep to make have them 32-38% of dodge with renown.

dodge/disrupt on parry would make them almost superior to SnB tanks in that regard. I think that is too much to ask for

Apart from that we can't just throw in random ideas. Buff damage, buff defenses, buff nothing at all? If there is a clear problem then we need to address that problem in particular and not make buffs in areas that don't need it

unless you mean a 2h tansk can reach with out hold the line 60% in every defense you are wrong, also they still dont have block.

SO block+parry = 2x chance to defend any attacks

have only parry mean =1x chance to defend any attacks, which sucks.

it could be change to have parry work as it does block but with 2h only
so that parry+dodge /parry+disrupt.

Which would give not as good chance in 2x vs all attack like shield but a buff in damage reduction on your tanks only.

Remember that in the aoe 2h tanks with no shield get a lot mroe damages so they must have at least a reliable damage reduction vs guard. Direct damages can be mitigated by armor and resistences but guard damages not and so this need of buff under 2h.

block/parry only i know ( guard damages are considered physic attacks)

i'm telling that 2h tank should be able to parry + dodge / parry + disrutp istead to have reliable defense that they lost while not wearing shield.

The conseguence of loosing shield is more damage less self defense but also get more damage from guard is too much and kill 2h tanks. Change how guard damages can be defedn by 2h tanks could help them a lot due the fact that guard damages cannot be mitigated by armor and resistence.

i really wanna see how that change will interact with wall of darting steel and hold the line.

on a site note, how long did you need to come up with that idea? great, simply perfect. i have nothing to add and i think we have a perfect solution now!

So,if they are considered physical attacks, how do you expect disrupt to help?

You cannot disrupt physical attacks, this kind of **** has been explained to you, multiple times, can you please at least remember basic game mechanics?
