Either because you notice that when you had epic zone fights of 300v300, now you have at best 100v100 skirmishing around, when you had 3-5 guilds running 2-4fgs on each side, now you have maybe 1-2 on each side - rest being random horde of pugs... and in my opinion, the game becomes a "lesser" experience, simply because due to players being the content in pvp, you get "less" out of it.
Maybe the trend will start moving towards higher numbers once forts are released and the endgame doesn't just revolve around hugging flags and being spanked by a rampaging keep lord, or once the next RvR sets are released and people get some new medals to grind.

I personally hope the future gives us less "bans" and "permanent bans" and more "mutes" and "1 year long mutes", each player being content to other players in pvp, so even if they say mean things or shout/spam odd things or emotes, it would just be better to make them silent instead of removing them from game. Obviously some exploits might require temporary trips to moon or minor vacations of some weeks or months, but hopefully not permanent exiles. After all, there are only limited amount of players who loved WAR so much that they are still willing to play a private server of a dead game (a game that died for good reasons), and the number isn't going upwards in the future as things stand.

It's not my "personal opinion that the game gets better with a declining population," but to argue that NA is "dead" when just last Thursday we had at least 1.5wb v 1.5wb where a month and a half ago all we could muster was a rocks kite-to-wc squad + pugs vs an SOD/TW 12man + pugs, I'd say NA is more fun than it has been in a bit. You may bring up EU all you like, but that's not my point.

Not true. NA is dead, hasn't been competition for months...

The player base had been, at the time, in a back and forth with the slowing of progression and the taking away of players ability to get to a point to where we can participate in t4 rvr(While combining the t2-t4 player bases in the same arena, and bolster definitely not helping the survivability and contribution of a lvl 16 in a t4 rvr zone, which makes sense, should we still be able to get to a point to where we can contribute in an rvr zone efficiently, regardless of that outcome it is not the point of this post)at this point in time the annoyance and anger of the player base was deserved, as we have had continuous bad relations with the staff and bans being handed out left and right(as you are aware, not always warranted) giving our opinions on the matter warranted hostile response if it was not in direct views of the staff.

In example on that post, Torq seems to disregard the opinions of the player base on the account that you guys dont take the reports of things we deem to not be fair to the player base seriously, is very evident. While you have admitted to the fact that the game is nothing without the player base and we who do take the time out of our day to report something we see as unfair to be reviewed such as this and to be brushed aside without a second thought.

The fact of the matter is the feedback, when serious, needs to be taken seriously and not brushed aside. Because, as you mentioned earlier in this post line, the game is nothing without the players. This being said I do understand you cannot cater to everything the players bring to your attention, and its no the rejection of the issue, but the manner of which it is rejected that most people have a problem with. And as I said in the post outlined above, you have lost a significant portion of the player base from what I described in the post, and it has evidently been proven. That being said, I have heard great things from my brother about you, Aza. Bring the change you promise and I, along with my brother and father im sure, would gladly return to the game.

Don't mind me, just going to randomly add some breaks to this hellish wall of text - really hard to take you seriously when you post like this.

Nobody was ever banned for feedback in order to silence them. Don't create a story to criticise bans. Only immature people who collected warnings and escalated temp bans like candy were finally banned permanently.
Some people just never learned how to make valuable feedback.

I was permaban without breaking any forum rules. Cant make that up, go back few pages and see what crimes led to my permaban if you have doubts. Never had any warnings either, straight up permaban.
Quite a lot of ppl got threaten with bans for providing feedback, especially about class changes, again, go back few pages and you can see examples.
Nobody here is creating story, but providing facts of things that actually happen.
Flat out lying that things didnt happen... is that your valuable feedback?

Your feedback wasn't about class changes when you were suspended from the forums. It was mostly showing support for the other server and that we deserved what happened. Not that you could only express this once and be done with it, but you felt the need to bring it up over and over and over, kind of like what you're doing now.

You're not a particularly constructive forum participant. Seems to me you're more than happy to find a wound and grind salt into it. Which gets annoying after a while.

That's not entirely true.
Several people were threatened with suspensions, or bans just for offering feedback; some of the topics were regarding the disrupt nerfs, keep lord changes, xp rates, and general class balance discussions, like those on the White Lion- I stayed out of it on this forum, and other forums, because I knew how volatile- vitriolic some devs/gms were.

Furthermore, our concerns, opinions, and suggestions should not have been instantly dismissed just because we aren't paying- I'm not saying that they should acquiesce and give us everything what we want/suggest, just that it's taken into consideration.
If the majority of people are saying x is wrong, it should at least be looked into, and not met with a quick, what amounts to, "f-u the game is perfect," "or l2p."

Xp gains are the biggest issue for me and if they're fixed- then I might finally be able to level some other toons- this game isn't about the journey from 1-40- not anymore- it's all about r40.

I have faith in Aza- I'm sure he'll veto any decisions that don't make sense- there's no need to remove anyone. He made his concerns and objectives known, as well as respectfully reply to some people that have been down right hostile.
I for one am looking forward to seeing what sorts of changes he makes to the server, and classes- but if you're not, then you have that other beta re-imagining and blatantly order biased server.

Your feedback wasn't about class changes when you were suspended from the forums. It was mostly showing support for the other server and that we deserved what happened. Last time ive checked "being annoying" aint on the list of things that get ppl bans.
Only wound here is the one made by you, to me. Permaban based solely on a whim. Yet you refuse to acknowledge and admit that, not to mention actual apology for wrongfull treatment. But i guess godmode look down upon community prevents that kind of things.
