How about folks try to help the devs solve the problems with lock rewards?
As for alts getting free gear, it's not going to happen anymore and this is a good change.

Right let's make something g very clear as people seem to miss it.
No RR inf and xp on lock IS NOT intended behaviour and we are trying to sort that out. Where people got the idea that we were removing that I don't know but it's tiresome.

Maybe give lowlvls something else in a gold bag or the other then like soldier medallion for a lvl 26, because that’s just waste when 1 conq medallion from a kill can give you 25 when you break it down :/ so that’s where I think it is not encouraging me at all to play on a low lvl toonwargrimnir wrote:I like how rewarding R16 players with RR45 gear somehow became the norm in your minds and is perfectly acceptable there. @Dan I'm for once not in favor of RR based drops. To me - it devalues character actual level and renown ranks are much easier to grind in comparison. There are plenty of ways to get to lvl 40 and you should as a new player probably follow at least one, just like everyone before you.

I have a question:
Those bags changes are fine and dandy but why do you insist on keeping the rng element of it? Why are we still getting duplicates from gold and purple bags? No one likes to gamble with their time and that's what trying to get conquerer set is right now, frustrating rng ridden gambling.
Now compare it to scenarios - even though scs are a huge grind, at least they're a fair grind because you always get x amount of currency. Why can't we get the same treatment for rvr? I'm certainly not whining since I've completed my conq (it's gathering dust since it's not even BiS for my class), just curious what are you trying to achieve here.

2.) Drastically increased conq med drops and ticks.
3.) Glove/boot drops.
RNG at this point merely visual, you can estimate the time it takes until you receive a coloured bag due to the displayed bonus - I am sure one could work out a feasible average.
If its a duplicate, well, tough luck. Salvage it, craft a talisman and sell it (buy PvE Drops, e.g.: Harbinger jewelry/weapons, Rare Fortune,... or the talismans you need) or equip it.
Win-win.

Ok, i get it now, i was under the imperesion that lowbees were not getting end game med's for kills when they are going up againsed maxed characters. The bag change i can see now. You know that nothing really changed except the moment when you start to obtain the gear? You couldn't use all those easy genesis / subjugator / conquerors before you were in your late 30s (or 40s for conq) so lowbies don't miss on anything?

rng makes geaing up fun and frustrating. You would rather have a "ruin gear" system in place? how boring. Rng gambling element is one of the hooks for many players in mmos.rmpl wrote:I have a question:

Now mabye there are some extreme cases of bad luck they could remedy. Say you could turn in 5 pieces of conq or 5-10ish genesis...and get a token to purchase your choice of said set. ruin system like on the extreme side of getting dupes
