anybody rocking the trispec NIDF/80% phys dmg from da toughest/aoe snare? I'm thinking of trying it, but tbh I think losing THC as a DPS SNB assist would be too big a loss.

Yeah i agree. The only times i spec YMM is if i am solo tanking (therefore going Toughest for the KD).

I wouldn't swap I am da biggest!. I would remove Rugged, since toughness doesn't mitigate guard damage anyway. So Wounds>>>>>>Toughness when guarding someone (specially when guarding someone squishy like a Choppa or Sorc). And with your gear and buffs, your toughness is pretty ok anyway.

my only reasoning being that as a DPS tank quite often in a 6v6 i will be targetted to see how squishy I am, and having a decent amount of toughness to offset the fact I don't tali toughness and go pure DPS helps. good point on the guard dmg thing, though, but i have a comfortable amount of wounds as it is so it depends on gear i guess.

It depends on gear (do you have full Merc? Ruin? is it Lair gear or you still wearing T3 stuff?), group setup (are you soloing? solo tanking for a premade? got 2 tanks?), who you are fighting, etc...

Truth is, anyone looking for advice on a BO spec/gear should first specify all those things. Spec can vary a LOT.

The whole point of the black orc is that you don't spam one ability, you cycle through chains of abilities. What your rotation is depends on your build, tactics and gear set up. Ideally you want a form of snare on your target. Armor debuff, and spam your finishers, changing the plan to get to them faster.


If you are running class cannon with "can youz hear me now?!", it will be WotA>TripEmUp>3hit>Follow me Lead>Changing da plan>ShutYerFace.


If you are assisting a marauder, do away with armour debuff, and open with follow me lead to give yourself a WS buff, snare, then get Skull thumper on there, changing the plan to right in da jibblies, (when it is fixed it acts as an interrupt and can stop running enemies momentarily), and then follow up with 3 hit combo.

something I forgot to mention, use taunt, when you pick a target try to have him taunted just 1 GCD away from him...taunt adds 30% damage to your attacks, and with SYG is key to doing some silly high damage crits. You will also want to run "Da biggest" bellow if you are running DPS.

Make sure you dont waste taunt and use it only right before THC or SYF.

In general this is better advice, but from a strictly DPS perspective, a LOLDEEPS BO will want to use their taunts, and when RidJ is fixed you can use that as your interrupt (double interrupt is always good too)
