Totaly remove aoe heals is fool but nerf both damage an heal for same % so that character will feel more durable could be nice so that the elastic healrh bar effevt can be mitigate a little, but this would make ppl angry at tank durability so i could understand where the hate came from.

No. It doesn't deserve any testing. Anyone with even remotely half a brain can figure out that this would not turn it into a more fast=paced tactical game as everyone will be spending more time running back from WC or spawn point than fighting. You can't have AOE dps and no AOE heals. Can't even believe I'm responding to this post as it's so ridiculous.

My suggestion deserves some testing, at least. Without heals WaR turns into fast-paced, more tactical game, where coordination and personal skill become very important. Nothing like boredom.

I bet, few have such experience. Sadly.

In that moment I had 20 lvl and aoe heal. Since they relied only on aoe damage, we could mitigate damage and wiped the keep. We had 1-1.5 WB, they have 2-3 parties.

However since exp/ren nerf of healers, I think there will be far less healers, just because it is hard and boring to train them (=
Thing is - without heal Sorcs can be easily taken down.

So you wish to remove the entire Warrior Priest and Disciple of Khaine classes?
My Archmage would like that very much :D

Couldn't have put it better myself. Not to mention that by making healers obsolete you'd be getting rid of 1/4 of the available class choices and prob an even bigger percentage of the playerbase

He didn't propose to turn off heal, his proposal was to turn off AOE heal.
AOE heal involves no thinking, tactical thought or mechanical skill. It's mindless button-mashing.
That's why YES. The game would be better without aoe heals.

Okay, what about other brainless aoe damage like a pack of slayers?

I support the equal reduction of damage and heals, but AOE heals are essential to the full heal tree, and removing it will significantly nerf heal spec to the point people will just go DPS healers.

Not as ridiculous, as you put it. Most AOE damage dealers are extremly squishy and can not do any real damage, unless beeing ignored and forgotten. Just a top priority target - that's it.

Runnig from WC? Yes, some real punishment for dying...and promotion for tactical thinking, situational awareness and cooperation.

Nah, AOE-heal should remain in pve. And healers can go dd or, most importantly, single target heal in rvr\sc.
Means determine end.
