Assist macro isn't really important when running in VOIP-using premades that actually communicate.

However, I could understand why people pugging or running in "pug-mades" would find it helpful.

When the Main Assist got added to Live it made melee trains godly powerful. Melee trains are already strong as it is and will only get stronger when T4 gets released.
Personally, I'm "meh" about it.

assist function also helps alot vs Aoe and it is important tool for fighting the zerg. On live, at the end some functions of assists macroes were exploited so it is reasonable to be implemented not like it was on live but some most basic assisting is important to have. Implementing assist wont help so much the voice com premades but the avarage joe who play more casually.

Ok so Az said it was buried in packets and it's going to have to wait awhile. That's fine. But it has to go in eventually. As a ranged player in a premade, I'm surprised you'd be the one to care less. Tab barely works past 60 feet, and it's nearly impossible to click a guy with a enlarged choppa blocking the way. Even with voice comms and having a name, it's difficult to function without it.

The ideal play is to simply click the friendly in the way, and then assist. That's the only way I would have access to what he's on, or the tank+melee train I'm trying to help. It's a constant bout of frustration, but I guess I'm the only one that thinks this. So I'm literally not even talking about an advantage, I'm talking about actually being able to play the game.

I just think of this as another in-game tactic, another form of body-blocking.

Sometimes it's 2 choppas and a chosen. I mean, are we playing guild wars 2 now all of a sudden?

Not gonna happen anyways. "Thread Recalculating. Turn right back to nerf magus and buff blackguard threads."

No, but think of it realistically. If you can't see someone because someone else is in the way, why should a SW for example be able to shoot through that person in the way?

Dude your talking like, guild wars 2, elder scroll online LOS combat. The fact is, you can shoot through people. Why deny targeting. Your argument is drastically altering the entire game, when I'm just saying RDPS are struggling to switch targets at times.

My BW is 27, haven't touched him since I made this slayer. And yes, it was so I don't have to deal with no /assist.

Well partly. Not realy.
