I do see what you're saying here and somewhat agree. However, I must admit, that trying to make the realm better one player at a time is a much bigger job, than what I have the will/energi to do.RyanMakara wrote:I play both sides and I gotta tell you, both Order and Destruction can have horrible pugs. However, these are usually new/inexperienced players who do simply not know the importance of guard, prehotting, focusing squishy targets, let alone advanced tactics such as falling back, pushing at the right moment, flanking ect. in open RvR.wender88 wrote:Random rant from some noob
The most fun you can have with pugs is when you have a core 6 man group and 18 randoms which you're trying to co-ordinate in warband chat. Force them to blob up, stick together, use the buffs and guards, otherwise it's instakick. Pug players simply need a good leadership example to show them how it's done, and they might learn a thing or two if you bother to explain the game's mechanics to them. To assume every single player in this game knows how to play his class, let alone the RvR/SC aspect of this game in general, is simply wrong, and you're asking to be let down by it.
Also, the tanks that die quicker than melee DPS; did you check if they used sword and shield? Asked them if they specced their renown points into defensive attributes rather than offensive ones? Your build and positioning matters whatever class you play, and most pug players are probably dying due to the sheer ignorance involved in that.
Also trying to make a pug WB work, when I don't even have a set grp myself, is pretty much impossible.
I know some players might be new to the game, but alot of players here, also played on live, so I expect atleast some parts of the playerbase is able to use the right builds and playstyle.
Heck I've seen alot of the names from live play like it's the first time they play the game.
EDIT: Noit claiming to be a god myself, cause I know thats not true, but I do claim I know a thing or two about how to play the game.
