Never been on a game where sieges or other major pvp did not result in lag on occasion. Or even a lot. AAA games **w/full support.** Well, in NCSoft's case, w/what passes for full support. When Aion launched, L2 crashed and crashed and crashed (same bandwidth, suddenly choked, and L2 was apparently QoS'd w/low priority vs the new baby). . Even when normal running mode, Final server merge was murder on sieges. 200+ person pvps, even w/that game's severely minor/limited options per cookiecutter character, and the game would hard lock.
AoC had trouble w/instanced 64-person fort battles. In a dedicated pvp area. On minimal grfx settings (was 100% seerver side.) Try a game where you have to land *combos* amid 10 second lag spikes.
Lag happens.

i can remember on live in the fort battles before mythic restricted the zone to 4 or 5 wb a side lol still crashed then to. this server got nothing on that lag 10 min after the fight the combat and log was still going if the server didn't crash that happened a lot
and u will find that T4 will work very well with only 100 a side war didn't need big pops to work fine it just needs ative pop not MB guards

In fact, development og RoR ist still better from many commercial games - from Elders Scroll Online and Gw2 to begin. My personnally way to handle with lag is whiskey -most time its work perfectly

I lay awake at night praying new players are deterred, especially the morons who think this is just a free MMO and have no idea that in order for the devs to get decent code into the game it has to be stress tested. And people wonder why games come out broke and full of bugs.

Oh, sorry, the RvR/Fortress zone is full. You are going back to the warcamp and have to sit there until people release in the RvR/Fortress zone.
