You mean...AOE was king...in open field/keep siege with a lot of players zerging each other? Woah, never heard that before in any other game. What an interesting concept!

Again, you need to work on your reading comprehension.

The problem is not "AoE is king", the problem is "Sorcs/BWs AoE was king by a stupid large margin". Their base mechanic of them getting +35% crit chance and +100% crit damage was always broken, because the "risk" was easily mitigated by heals (and to some extent guard).

AoE in zerg environments will always be the most viable option. The problem was these classes were not designed properly.

Once again, one thing is the mechanic being stupid, it totally is and another is believing that they will be forever be broken just because of it.

BW/Sorc was balanced around the mechanic being like that and people talk a lot about how great AoE is yet every single damn t4 sorc/bw was going for single target late on live.

So i think a lot of people dont know what the **** they are talking about. Melee trains and melee dps was the best option, if you think BW is bad, wait to get buttraped by double slayer comps.

What if TB was a passive that everyone gets ?
I remember it being Mandatory late game to survive the burst of some Mdps and RDps.
It's just a suggestion

Az has already stated that shatter limbs will be nerfed with longer cool downs so x2 slayers will not result in 100% shatter limbs uptime

melee train was strong late game on live mainly b/c of resloute defense, their will be no resolute defense in ror the devs have stated, also most likely no clensing wind either

TB was made as a stop gap to deal with the massive crit and dmg that came with RR100

it wasnt made as a solution for sorcs and bw
