The BOs need to matter more and really need to part of the zone locking mechanism.

Short term maybe change it so that you need to control all 4 BOs and capture the keep to lock the zone and then long term look to come up with some sort of VP zone locking.

If you cant lock a zone without having all the BOs it should hopefully encourage a bit more roaming and split the zerg up a bit.

Don't forget about t4. We discuss things here this and that, but in t4 all this RvR change may be very frail.

Additional tiers will make a big difference to this. When t3 hits there will be less people in t2, t4 will soak up more of t3. There are only huge reservoirs of people now because t2 is the end of the line, but it wont always be.

If they don't break it down and make the game less zergy. They could add another or more things to do in RvR.

The bo's matter at the moment BUT the problem is instead of having groups roam and patrol u have 1 super blob of 100 players all going from 1 point to another.
At this time i pretty much give up, trying to roam as a duo or 6 u either find solo lowbies attempting to join the zerg which aint fun or challenging or u find the 60-100 zerg of baddies who will go well out of there way to body block and zerg 1 player.

The RvR we have right now is a digrace, bunch of easy mode RvE players who do not care about any challenging, close run, fun fight as long as they get there points, which is even more odd when half are already max level.

You baddies have killed it.

Today morning - our wb was in the Ostland. We took all BOs, started to hit keep's door - and bah, Kinns is burning. We took Kinns back, but hey, Ruins burning now. We took Ruins, but 5-6 ppl burn the Crypt.

So if you want - you always can start guerilla wars. But is often like this - "Oh, we can't take the keep now, i'll go exp my alt in t1 or afk".

Thats my point, players cap bo's and then 60-100 come and recap it. You zerg like it is fun.

Imagine an rvr system, where BOs are important, where you can't zerg down keeps, where defending is rewarded.
A system which splits the zerg, if they want to lock a zone, making it possible for the underdog to face even numbers.
A system to prevent rushing zones without opposition, while keeping 2 zones open at a time.
A system which rewards active playing and no leeching, even as underdog.

To our defense - we tried to kill you about 10 vs 1 several times last night and could not... :-P
So we increased the ratio toward 20 vs 1. It's not our fault if jumping shoomies are so hard to kill.
You and your pretty friends had plenty of fun with my poor body.
But I agree the current RvR system is like an airport treadmill... Stop BO 1, stop BO 2, stop BO 3 and Keep, move to next open zone and repeat - Until it's fixed... the ouiji board says heavy zerging in the forecast.
