Yeah I think some of the friendly banter is being mistaken as trash talk. With the ability to switch realms I see a lot more people having friends on both sides of the fight. In one sc two players were trash talking back and forth and I got the feeling it was friendly banter but others in the sc seemed bothered by it because they thought it was serious... sometimes hard to read sarcasm.

Basically if someone says hey I think you're taking it a bit far you should stop or at least tone it down. Others need to realize most of it is in good fun. And the rare cases are actual harassment that need reported

Here's my reaction when I see a blue text appear in my chat box from an Order player... "Meh".

I don't waste time typing to someone when I'm fighting because I know how quickly a fight can turn against you even if one person start to trololo you. ;)

Everyone seems so uptight in WAR. A week ago I thought I was friendly taunting, the enemy ended up getting mad in SC. I got a bunch of /tells of people upset and lashing back. The worst thing I said was noobs like really not that serious.

I think for the banter to be friendly, there needs to be a friendship and understanding to begin with.

Being annoying to the point of getting banned, is anything but friendly banter.

Yeah back in live I had some few order that I would banter with but also had a few that required reporting. Though I remember putting on friend on ignore because of mistaken sarcasm lol. The guild thought it was hilarious

To be honest, I could see how your reply could be take insultingly.

Kind of like your scoffing at the fact they play a dps DoK and it's not good enough for your premade. Without giving the person a chance, your already writing them off.

Instead, you could have simply said, sorry we are looking for X class atm, instead of repeating the class they're playing just to tell them no.
