I restarted playing recently (began in T1 since I had no clue anymore how to play my existing characters) and I found it took sometimes ages until a SC popped up.

And also in T2+ it took some time. I think it is good that premades don't fight against pugs (that's also prevented now right?), but the requirements for a good role composition only increase the queue times unnecessary.

And what about Rank 40, do you still come into the same queue as someone with RR 80? That was the reason in the end why I quit a few years ago, I had so much fun doing mainly SCs (only RVR for gear) during leveling but then with 40 I god farmed without having a real chance due to gear and RR advantages.

Just my points from a new/returning player.

PS: Just checked last time I played was 2021, so a lot has changed since then and also the number of active players went down overall unfortunately.

I like that they have soften the 2/2/2 requirements and that there are now pops with like 1 tank, 4 dps and 1 healer possible. Since the other side is getting the same setup it is pretty fair!

I've noticed that there are mostly destro tanks missing in the queue to get a pop. Kinda interesting because there are a lot of destro tanks. I guess they prefer orvr during prime hours.

Id say the only way to get more people to play scenarios is more carrots to get them there.

Id like to see two changes:
- Please revert the surrender time from 7:30 back to 11:00 or at least something in between. 7:30 is just too long of a wait.
- Please add a bit more of a renown bonus. Finishing rounds with like 2-3k renown is really bad. One solo kill in orvr gives more. Ive played a lot of scenarios and my renown bar barely moved.
- Third: we have requested it already serveral times: It would be better to have guards at starting points so when one side starts to overextend or camp these points there are at least ways to gain back momentum by e.g. punting them into guards.
Disagree all you want, sc's are going down the toilet quick.

The idea that if you have the correct classes in the sc that they will magically be balanced was always absurd.

All people wanted was a way to avoid being farmed by premades. Without balancing gear (and skill) the scs were never going to be balanced simply by not letting them pop without a healer and tank on each side.

Problem not in sc, its quick degradation of player base. People que into sc solo, in ruin gear without pots and talis and think someone gona carry their ass to victory. Then their ass beated by sov prems, and their's logic - oh its everyone fault but not mine, i better go join pug rvr band where i can switch my brain off and still get rewards. And slowly sc playerbase die. Like city playerbase died. Like ranked died. People want to do nothing and get rewards. Sadly rvr curently support such behavior where people play like mindless blob plancton, and dont care about quality of figths. From what i see even org guilds as format slowly die on destro, cos people are ok with pug wb quality.

Current system compared to what it was is a lot better. Find your balls, try hard, cooperate, and keep in mind that your enemy can be sweaty sov 6 man. And then sc flourish. But its not gonna happen rigth? U need a carrot on the stick. Well devs could make sc leaderboard for measuring contest give some uniq rewrds to it, etc. Feedback was given. Plenty of ideas actually over the years.

Before player base wont be interested in quality gamemodes, and devs not be interested in stimulating community for it - you will have unfun boring stomps that will slowly rot away.
