Brut/Monstro was best st/aoe spec all in one, it was beyond stupid but remain playable and strong.
Every mutated skill took a armor pen nerf with blanket change to PB. EDIT: I think WL had two skills take an armor pen nerf instead of the vast majority.
WL's still dominate from all aspects. Cannot see any balance here.

Issue even is, Mara doesn't compete with WL, but with Choppa.

I was already aiming a max crit spec... I wished for something more fancy :p
If you spec high parry/def then yes it's really good but draining swipe/wrecking ball still seem more useful

Yeah, the thing is, the rest of WL's skill didn't have any additional armor pen from a tactic like PB in the first place. Thus, if you didn't have anything at all, it can't be nerfed.

Those other skills don't penetrate armor, so who cares?

Yep that's what I meant, those 2s breaking rotation are silly
5s CD on impale would've been enough (or no CD at all)

I would agree. Convulsive slash is too weak and goes against the brute mechanic.

I think "Convulsive Slashing" could also be the pt13 ability of Brut, leaving "Guillotine" untouched. Make "Gut Ripper" a core ability as it is now. Add something to "Convulsive Slashing" such as the suggested Rend stacks/Bonus Damage/WS increase...Something to make Brutality a worthy tree to invest points.

Or, at least, give us a very useful ability instead of a garbage for free?
