Herders have pounce because they don't have ranged AoE anymore, they made the middle tree the only viable AoE option. Previously, they had Splittin' Arrer tactic and Shoot Thru Ya (65ft like Lileath's Arrow).

Because thats not how it was mirrored.
WL has pounce, while Marauder doesn't. WE has pounce, while WH doesn't.
SH has pounce. WE is currently the most unbalanced class. Extreme damage, amazing survivability, high mobility, a lot of damage, and invisibility. Good players simply have no chance of losing. The server lost its population again, as the developers did not fix the problem of the superiority of destruction classes

The gap closer comparison is this:

Order

* WL pounce
* ASW pounce
* WH no pounce

Destro

* MSH pounce
* WE pounce
* Mara no pounce

So I'm struggling to see the compensation for WE losing 30 range given adding the pounce balances an existing disparity between Order and Destro mobility.

The general complaint that most people express is that Witch Elf magically got a pounce and Witch Hunter got nothing. This only shows that all the complains come from either ignorant or people completely in the dark when it comes to Witch Elf.
Witch Elf already had a pounce, a very bugged and sluggish one that brought u further from their target when used instead of closing the gap lmao.
The only thing the patch did was make it actually usable (ON SMOOTH TERRAIN), switch it from an opener that built 2 combo to a damaging ability that builds none and giving it a reset when I enter stealth.
It already had a snare, but you people never noticed because the ability was absolutely useless beforehand and never used.
The pounce reset mechanic is only useful when used in tandem with Elixir of shadows, basically forcing you to trade an extra opener or escape, reset tool for a pounce.
And all this for the cost of 25ft. What a change..

Forgot to mention the snare duration got reduced from 5 to 3s :)

Yes, I also find this pounce on WE very bizarre and useless. It has zero synergy with WE. I’d much rather have increased range on the abilities than this sluggish pounce.

Pounce on a stealth class :lol:

Kisses and bullet blessings were very clearly balanced around this fact. Kisses have a chance to proc on every attack, blessings always proc on finishers.

Any dev team can reasonably balance around these mechanics. Any paid dev team, I should say, and that's not meant to slag off this team.

Please do not continue with the dumb-down mirroring trend. Varied class mechanics like this are what give this game flavor.

Yes but bullets does more damage.
