the only real abuse of the WR was being able to WR with a resource to get to the WC and turn in to reset the keep doors without having to run thru the lakes.

Its a valid change. Maybe they should lower timer now to 5 minutes.

This is perfectly on point. WR seems now actually fine. I just want to remind, people were WR out of any danger: in Scenarios, Cities, InOrvr you could potentially be abandoned within seconds by whole warbands just because they left the fight and WR out. The main intention behind WR was what was said here - and that is what we have now. I'd also agree on a slower CD.

No, it's fine. Don't act like you aren't out there chasing down one enemy with 10 allies at your back like everyone else. You can still use it to change zones when fighting is close. In past cases gankers started fights then decide to leave when the going got tough and they went poof the moment they were out of combat just long enough. It should have always been for conveniently changing zones. Not avoiding consequences of the pvp one entered into voluntarily. As others have mentioned it also curbs the instant box deliveries.

This Warreport change will definitely make these WBs/blobs happier. After chasing soloers across half of the map killing them, corpse jump them while getting 20rp each. Yes this not some rare case, but it happens on dailly basis quiet often.
This change will not help with ppl who "ripp of internet connection from the wall" every time they about to lose fight/die to keep they K/D ration clean.
You can still escape the fight if you have scenario pop.
In conclusion the change wasnt necessary at all.

This change is pretty good tbh, that instant port was awfull and didnt make sense, + people speak like there is no WR anymore thats funny, the WR still here and efficient u just cant instant port anymore u have to actually open ur eyes in the lakes and preshot it if necessary.
When it was instant, people were avoiding whole fight where they actually make positional mistakes that shouldnt let them alive. as frustrating as it is, when u get face to face to wb as solo in the lakes, u should die, same if u are chased, u might escape by righlty using sprint/flee or anything u can but an instant port as soon as u out of combat is stupid as ****, i know some people that wouldnt even go to lakes if their WR was on CD, and they are mostly veteran player with full gear and knowledge that definitly dont need such thing, they were just abusing it.. and the funniest part is new player barely knows or use that instant port to escape a fight so it was mostly benefit to fully aware and geared bunch of veteran player who couldnt handle a die on their poor killboard. Great job devs thanks

Basically what you are saying is that Veteran soloers were using it to escape against full parties and it annoyed the parties that wanted to get Solo Kill on their leaderboards because only one player kills the soloer BUT his enemy is healed so its registered as a Solo Kill on the Killboard which makes Killboard a joke, but that is the RoRstaff attitude about Soloers anyway, that they are a joke. Killboard is useless and exists only to boost the zergers stats and it makes people even more afraid to die in a pvp game... And that is the attitude that really is not good for the game

I like the change. getting a free ticket out of a certain death situation every 20 minutes was way too strong. about time people die more ;)

thats exactly what im saying and i totally agree killboard is awfull and make people play weirdly because they dont want death in their score, soloing is rough cause the game never been designed for this playstyle (as devs stated many time, game completly unbalance in 1v1) but they kind of think about it cause there is actually a good archetype class if u really want to only solo play and escape full wb and complete desperate situation and these class are the stealthed class, thats all, if u are a solo tank or whatever, first of all its completly stupid, u obviously gonna shine and help more both ur teamates and urself if u join or create a group, and 2nd u shouldnt be grant a instant port to support this type of gameplay so maybe soloer will finally understand that they NEED to group and speak to people to actually archieve something and soloing lead to nowhere else than your WC except if u are really good

Soloing is not about 1v1 its about 1vx and unconventional builds (less now with regen meta which i hate) and its about beating the odds and learning what every class can do in 1v1 situations against your class. What class to kill first 1v3 or 1v2 tank+guardee melee dps etc. You learn more about the abilities of every class and that info is what really makes you a good player whether your in team or not.

And im not the one who wants to force anyone do anything or play the way im playing. I dont understand this controlling attitude i mean from objective standpoint no one wins when you force others to play like you want them to play. It really is none of your business how others play or what they think about you and its weird, control for the sake of control
