How much crit can AM stack?

Everyone by default has around 15% chance to be crit by default. Meaning if you go full into Futile Strikes, that gives you -24% to be critically hit. So that in reality means you sit at -9% to be critically hit. So if someone is running around with 30% crit chance. They have a 21% chance to crit you. If you don't invest in reduce crit, they have a 45% chance to crit you.

Where do you pull the 15% from? Afaik there is a base heal crit chance because even with 0% heal crit on your char you can critical heal.
Offensive crit is based in your base initiative value which is different for each class. It should be on average around 15% but some low init classes have higher ctbc.

From other hand, if someone has 40% crit and the defender a 15% to be crit, and then the defender gets hit by init debuff turning that into say 40% to be crit = so then he gets 80% to be crit, it gets a lot funnier.

That's why you need 200-300 ini on pretty much every class.

That's no bs, that's the fault of the defender to neglect their defenses.
When you are low lvl, it is normal to have high ctbc but possible attackers in your level range have low crit rates too.
Later on, when dps have higher crit rates, their targets tend to have 0 or even lower ctbc.

Should be the first thing to look at, futile strikes, a little bit init. Damage is cool, but better do 50dmg less and survive, dead people don't do any damage
