Leaderboard was a very good invention.
Many of us the leader board a new goal.
If it is not for you then dont check it.
(Iam olay with tank now i have terrible k/d ratio so i dont check it. Problem solved.)
Big value information are in leaderboard about sc city open rvr and other players, guilds
If you not interested just dont check it.
I dont know why do you want to remove a cool feature what makes the game better for many of us?
You dont like it? No problemo amigo, not need to see
Same thinking lead->
Why dont remove the dwarf/ork city? I dont like it i always lost my self!
Why dont remove ranked set? Too may warcrest the

. I dont have enough!
Why dont remove the sc/pug sc i always lose!
Why dont remove the orher olayers they can kill me?
Why dont remove the games from your pc....
We need more not less!!!

It affects peoples behaviours in RvR and makes them super fearful of dieing which leads to boring RvR and stalemates. I do not care about my stats. I care about the fact people wont engage for fear of a stat on a website.

The board in THEORY was good, but it's lead to some pretty elitist behaviour of hiding in war camps picking off kills, and in general avoiding the fight because you want to keep a high k/d ratio. That's not what Warhammer is about. It's about smashing heads in ORVR with organised and unorganised groups. You don't need a killboard to know who's good or not because their reputation will precede them, this isn't a big server. You'll know who the good guilds are because they'll be the one's killing you most. We had this argument in my own guild about people caring too much about their k/d. At the end of the day it's a game, and we play because we enjoy it, not because we want to measure penis size.

People fear what they don't understand and hate what they can't conquer.
That's not the point, the point is the leader board is influencing players to actively sabotage gameplay to pad their own numbers by avoiding the fight and picking off lone players as 6man gank squads. I've seen the same in SC's, an entire 6 man premade designed to lift one player so they can pump their K/D on the leader boards. It's ridiculous.

Anyone with an ounce of brain knows that kill board is a net loss to the fun factor of the game

IMO what really leads to boring RvR and "stalemates" is the fact that people are afraid to give "free bags" to the defending side with equal numbers.
It has been like this since SoR shows pop numbers and the other population addon which I don't remember the name.

I got called an order spy for getting a ram last night
Keep sieges are boring - On destro with even numbers you know the slayers will melt the pugs and the keep take is impossible. If theres only one organsised wb out with pugs and 3 org wbs stacking in the keep its obvious of the outcome. That's why people don't siege.
People also dont siege as its the worst way to protect your K/D ratio.

On the contrary, I think there is no connection between sieges and the Killboard because, as you said, taking a fort depends on the number of WBs organized in attack or defense (as well as the level of the fort - a 3-star fort being almost impossible to take without being significantly more than the defenders), without notion of classes/faction.
So players won't risk taking a keep if the outcome of the siege is more or less predetermined. Might as well fight around the fort, rather than waiting for a funnel that will not be conclusive (or unlikely to be).
And again, this is not a matter of K/D ratio or Killboard, but more a question of fun from my point of view.

I have no problem with the leader board other than perhaps we could not include discordant scenario kills in the total, which I'm hoping might discourage the premades from queuing the discordant SC.

A quick and easy fix that would also satisfy thr majority would be to simply remove deaths from killboard. Keep the kills, remove kdr wankery

That would be great - more people would then go for it to try to get kills and take a few more risks
