Yea the reverse approach to just block everything except the "NB selected" ability and spam a set of keys in sequence is a clever workaround.
But there are other ways.
BrickButtons isn't exactly that (no need to spam keys, just keep the same keys held down forever) but yes concept too is another method of making NB stuff viable using the SetWindowGameActionData (or whatever it's called) exploit on the tracker or other methods. Some methods I don't put on the tracker as they can invoke a swing of the hammer...

Not the way I think you mean.
Sequencer will not skip abilities that are disabled by this addon.

This is my personal opinion:
(i have not checked out the addon yet, only read the short explanation).
Usually you would use the information that the ui provides (be it native ui or customized) and react according to it. For example checking your target for the "immovable" status effect before wasting your cc. This ofc is solely based on the decision of the player and therefore it has room for human error. These kind of addons take out this "human error" part of the gameplay, which is something that I'm not a fan of.
Do i think its cheating? No.
Do i think it gives an unfair advantage over people who dont use it? Most of the time no... but maybe in situations where using - and not wasting your cc is the factor deciding between a win or a loss.
I dont think this addon is a problem...but you cant deny it leaves the same sour taste as the NB checks did for the same reason.

I wont be using it, but I salute you for making those!!

P.S. For people saying just bring back NB, there always have been a working version of it, just buried in certain discords. Talladego is just bringing the (portion of) availability back to masses. He is a hero!

TBH the game preventing you from using single target abilities that the target is immune to is the kind of thing that should be built into the core UI.

NB banned with no reasons, just one developer woke up in bad mood and decrease pop of server by one third-quarter (cannot count correctly since NB agonized a few days and some ppl hope to have alternative to NB like sequencer but dont).
Now any API based addons can be banned with same reason - "no reason but im think it bad".
Stop reproduce this fault, enough of hackingtools and violation of game rules, bring love to players - allow NB and ANY API based addons since it use legal code. And stop make NSA-dream world in free for all game.
