What is this lag :S

Reminds me of when riot was ddos attacked. massive lags.

I think a donation system would be a great idea, gives players the opportunity to help the server get better and better, however there can not be any donation items with stats on which would affect RvR.
Donation items should be things such as trophys/cosmetics you get in game to look all fancy etc..

No they "the developers" won't. And that is irrelevant because this donation system is not for the developers, this is for server maintenance and improvement.

The target for the money transfer has to be either a biological person or a juristical person (organisation/company).
If you donate money for a specific purpose, you have to trust the "money receiver", that he spends it excactly and completely for that purpose.
So the RoR devs would have to accept the donations and need to spend it on the donation purpose, as you can't transfer money to a "thing" (server).

But this is completely irrelevant, as afaik this project can't generate any money at all.
Any EA/GW lawyer would just argue, that the devs received money for it (regardless what it is spend for) and at this point you most likely would have to fight for it on court (won't happen).

Per Luth's comments, no donations are accepted.
