If only someone had the foresight to repeatedly predict that making the queue more accurate would drastically increase queue times. Ah well, here we go again. Down this other path of complaining about scenarios.
I don't understand how the change that was made is influencing the queue time that much given:

when the scenarios pops they will have somewhat balanced setups and equal numbers on both sides.
But sometimes 3 players on one side decline the pop but all players on other side take it. So instead of 8 vs 8 at start it is suddenly 5 vs 8.
It will try to fill those spots, but that depends on players queuing up, and accepting the scenario invitations.
Let's say a scenario was started with 10vs10 of which 4 people of a side declined: 6vs10
The change made it so a scenario only starts with e.g. max 10vs9... does it? I can't imagine how waiting for 3 more people beeing ready to play has such a huge impact: from 5-10min queue to 3h queues... That would imply finding 3 people to play requires more than 3hours? The scenario in the old system often filled up with the next invite round but the round was often already over by then... That was a real problem. People willing to play WERE there (just not in time) but now they suddenly aren't anymore?
No offense, i appreciate everything devs do for this game even if i don't like a change here and there but something with this change seems to be a little bit off doesn't it?

please please please revert the changes in SC to how they were a month ago, i finally convinced my friends to try this game that i love and SC's not working will be detrimental to if they decide to continue playing or quit from the long ques. i would be extreamly grateful if the restrections could be removed so we can get faster ques
Please revert this sc changes......

Well solo puggers mostly on Order kept complaining how some magical full sov 80+ premades were stomping them in scs and that not having balanced composition was the main reason they were not able to compete when in reality most of them are just really bad at the game and wanna get carried by premades themshelves. As far as i have seen, even with balanced comps they still get stomped by pretty much anything. You got what you asked with balanced comps. The excess amount of certain archetypes cause the queue time to be super long. I expect couple more of these posts soon

Next time accept uneven numbers in scenario, if some people don't take pop or queue in groups. It was expected, that queue times for individual players increase a lot, if some form of balancing is applied.
No thanks.

From the destro side I was thinking something similar. The scenarios I've done so far have actually been mostly enjoyable win or loss, but I couldn't help but wonder how much of a change it is for order now that they don't have 5 healers to 0/1 to abuse.

The scenario reserves change was actually disabled on Thursday evening. So if pops are slower it is purely because fewer players are queueing.

the problem goes back further in the patch process than last weeks "reserve". It goes bac to the 3/18/21 patch. Before that it was mostly ok.
