Ok, I was wrong. How much of an impact does gear have? Is it less than on live? Mind you, live when Sov was the highest tier of gear. Not the warpderp powerspike that was a horrible idea.

Sov is the highest tier of gear we will have on the server. Everything else has been squished so the differences between sets is less dramatic.

What's the sum(or percentile) difference between Sov and the next best armor(for PvE it's the highest tier and it is...BeastLord, right)?

There are item levels on each piece of gear that should accurately correspond to their relative value. For PvE that would be Bloodlord gear from Bastion Stair. Beastlord is one of the entry T4 sets that you get from lair boss quests.

Beastlord, Bloodlord, what an unfortunate naming convention! Regardless, let's say lump sum. How many stats does BoL give as opposed to Sov?
