do you have Vulkan installed and it is supported by your GPU?
Isio wrote: Mon Feb 08, 2021 2:56 pm The idea in general would be great!
kodos wrote: Sun Feb 07, 2021 8:58 pm you can always use dxvk which translates directX9 to Vulkan

Is that working only for linux?
official support is only for linux, but as Vulkan works in Windows dxvk is doing as well (like shown in the video)

Not sure if Dx version and 64-bit computing are the same thing.

It might make the game look prettier, but without the access to extra RAM/CPU that 64 brings, it will be a visual enhancement with no performance changes. And i don't think those juicy bits can come with a 3rd party tool, if the game engine wasn't built to use them.

Yea I ran into that same issue. You'd open the launcher and it would open for a few seconds and then close out right?

My current work around for it is to open the launcher and then drop the files in. It'll let you press connect and you'll see the Vulkan HUD in the top left. Unfortunately it means I have to delete those files every time I want to open the launcher. Hopefully someone has a solution for that though.

Yes it does, I've checked the task manager. It freezes and then closes

FYI I'd be interested in hearing about performance gains with this. I'm watching this from the sidelines and am interested.

Most of the 'stutters' that I saw when profiling (without symbols mind you) were limited to disk i/o usage on the main thread and EmotionFX taking a ton of CPU cycles. The other parts being lua. Rendering is relatively quick in comparison.

would love to see some Screenshots for Comparison :) Might be worth spending some hours of work!

Can someone structure a proper Installation order for our beloved game? Then, perhaps we can collect more data and feedback for the Devs. Thanks in advance.

Maybe, we can even call the Proxy developer and ask him if he can adapt it to our game? I mean .. we can at least try ..
