ui broken after pacth ?

i have deleted the game and reinstalled turned off windows defender. and still my ui is broken. is this issue ever going to be fixed???????????????? It's not a problem at my end

Your process is different than what I've typically done. I usually install the new patch. Close out the launcher then start it again. I assumed that would catch any new stuff. I've never started the game and closed it out in the character selection menu and then restarted. Maybe that's where I erred.

I see two options:

1) wait for the next patch and hope that fixes things
2) uninstall and reinstall the game. With 2) what would happen to my characters? Are they and all their stuff, rr etc. saved on a server beyond my computer? I'm scared to try 2).

Yeah, all chars are saved server side, it's an online game.

I made the experience, that just closing launcher and restarting it doesn't always trigger a second patch.
There aren't always 2 patches but since then I start the game once and then restart launcher.

Again this does not help the my current problem. Just so you know I do that every time I log in if there is a new patch or not.
With that being said. How do we get this problem fixed???????????

What exactly is messed up with your UI?

If it is the layout, then it is saved and you have to manually rework it again.

The guild tabs are blank, the merchant tabs or boxes are blank. I can move stuff in my bags but when I mouse over the stuff the tool tip window does not show. I can not use anything in my bags or open loot bags. The mods tab does not work at all. when i click on it nothing happens. Sorry in advance if my discriptions are poor.

Then it must be your installation, if it worked before.

Fully wipe out the game and re-download didn't work?

I assume it is not on C:\ in some protected directory or read only.

I did wipe and reinstalled the game. C:\program 86 I made a folder with Games that the game and discord are in. sorry not real good with ps's. It worked great before the patch. Where do I look for this read only thing? its the only thing I haven't checked
