...by assuming that people will be happy to do away with their old stuff, knowing that they have an extra 8 levels/new skills/new stuff to acquire...?

Thanks but I'm quite capable of selling & deleting stuff I don't want/need on my own. I don't need someone coming along without warning & doing away with all my stuff in one fell swoop for me - not to mention the gold. A lot of time wasted thanks! I know it's an alpha server but that's tacky.
