I would really do a hard look at the stats given by each piece and then the 2 and 3 piece set bonus. Then compare that with Invader for your class. Most ppl spend far more time in ORvR than scens. Unless you play at high pop and can win often, the cost of both Oppressor armor and high tier scen weapons is too high for you to ever get both.

Oppressor being a mix and match with Invader while you are building your full Invader set is about the only good use I can see for it.

This will also depend on whether you want the best scenario weapon for your class or the Invader one. Depending on how much you play and with how good of a scen win rate, my advice is get the scen weapons first otherwise you will be grinding forever.

TLDR: Unless you want the full set for some reason, either buy or farm 2-3 pieces and call it good.
