But they will just hit the same problems when they leave t1. If t1 is as with the changes you suggest to learn the game and its abilities isnt it also to learn that the game is group based. No, not really. The idea of giving out guard earlier is not primarily to encourage grp play (it is a side effect of it though). Its simply meant to give tanks in pug warbands and pug sc a useful thing to do and introducing it from early on will hopefully result in more ppl actually making use of it and learn how to flow with the guard swaps fromnthe beginning. Tier 1 is a chaotic pug fest and thats good how it is imo. Its a sandbox for new players and veterans to learn new classes. My suggestion mainly focuses on making it more fun, by giving out the most iconic class abilities from the start.
