Sorry but u r simply wrong.

While DPS DoK i slighly better, Healing WP is just much better, ever heard of Exalted Defenses tactic, u should try.

Let's face the facts.

WP is a better heal
DOK is a better DPS
WP is a better melee heal (way to go on wp)

if u say WP is better than dok in heal because of a 20%+healing probability tactic. OK, i would say it sounds right.

But if u say WP melee heal is better than dok, i think its totally wrong. Based on dps dok is better, even on skills and dual weapons. Melee heal is stack on dps not healing ability. Dok can deal fair healing and dps at the same time while wp just can deal with fair healing and low dps when melee heal.

So the main point is if u would say the melee heal and the survival ability(Tanking ability) is really better on WP, i would say dps dok overpowered fact will be fair for wp.

In fact, i just compared, DOK and WP in healing, DPS & tanking ability.

This topic is based on your impression that DPS DOK is on top of DMG in EVERY SC. This is not a fact and it is not truth. Maybe you had bad luck on squad, but my experience is that even if the squad of both sides is balanced - First in kills is WL/BW (sorc sometimes) and first in dmg is engi (magus sometimes). So what now? We both have different experiences.

Not every sc right? dps is not the hightest, but how about the kills? a guarded DPS DOK can slay what he wants.

The ONLY Ballistic class Destro has and you have to train MELEE masteries....that's why.

It's not, as it always depends on who you are fighting. High scoreboards numbers are aoe dmg for the most part. You can't compete with true melee dd in damage albeit their damage is very solid.


Concerning melee heal wp and dok. This is about shield spec, where the shield wp has the edge, especially because of their 20% heal boost tactic on avoidance. You are not only using lifeleech heals.

So that, melee heal stacks on dps is a joke,
it should stack on a fix value heal (not combine with dps 50 or 75%) or
stacks on tanky status (such as toughness, hp, armor or even resist and etc)......
