Just about the "part of the game" argument, which is comparable to fresh Stilton in its cheesy stench:
- The original developers were not perfect.
- This game, as their product, is also not perfect.
- Therefore whether or not an element is or was part of the game does not mean it is perfect, justified, balanced or even good and does not mean that it should never be changed. It in fact means absolutely nothing other than the element is currently part of the game Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning.
Any element of any game should be judged on its own merits and not given a free pass simply because it's been implemented. That's my personal opinion and does not mean that anything will be changed on Return of Reckoning.
I have no real opinion on the knockback topic, it's just that reading "part of the game" triggers something primal in me

1. Just me crying so no "all those people"
2. Never proposed you shouldn't die in lava or from fall damage so your whole passage about tanks and suroundings is a bit meh!
3. Flying of a bridge to safety is more or less the reason why I personally would like to see it have fall damage
4. Using CAPS sure is impressive
5. We aren't like to see those changes implemented so no reason to panic

Well i personally can just disagree with you Bozzak. No reason to NOT award people for a good Punt, no reason to NOT award SW/Wh or whatever for a good placed selfpunt. The enemys simply are at their own fault for making those plays for others possible.
So generally i'd say

LOTS of times on my WH, WE and SW I would gank groups of enemy on the large bridge in DW, kill one person and jump to safety. LOTS OF FUN FOR ME!!!!.... no fun for the enemy.
I use to like meeting these ppl on my Black orc and using right in da jibblies as they self punt and have them wonder why they either fell to there death or stayed on the spot.

3. It is a gorgeous strategy... absolutely beautiful. One person can attack a six man, kill someone and escape. What is there NOT TO LOVE? (I love CAPS so deal with it, kitten)

For me it is too much ... "ridiculous speed" and "Ludicrous Speed" Spaceballs tm
Have to admit it can be beautiful though
Ps. I didn't like the prospect of SM/BO defnsive jump much of the same reason

just try how fabulosus would be jump from dragonwake bridge and then land as batman but with a BO size on your group mate that was previusly kicked down on that bridge with no damage!!!!! AWSOME!!
