As expected from the master of twinks
if you remember the thread that posted datas about the number of each class played BG was dead near the bottom, and its because the rarity of gear for that class pushes people away from the class.

Re: How were BG's played in t4?
im quite a bit off from the perfect gear, but who cares! but im wondering why you have no shoulders. i bought mine off the AH (galerunners) like a week ago
(and they were like 5g or so kek)

Re: How were BG's played in t4?
All the BG shoulders had vanished from the AH when I checked the other day and there's still none there, same with helms (although there's a GR one on atm), I've noticed the same for a few diff items.
As for BGs generally atm, the biggest problems for me are the general issue with melee meaning buffs/debuffs often don't get applied (mainly annoying for the buffs on cd), and shield of rage just doesn't seem to work at all anymore. Oh and there's the problem with dark protector isn't there (can't remember if it was fixed now or not)?

Problem with DP, you cannot switch it anymore from your first target only through relogging yep..
Absorb works in about 1% of all cases, but close to zero. For melee spells not hitting, that is problematic, but with some training you can make literally every attack hit if you know when to use them. I hit my Slow for example pretty much 18 out of 20 times.

Yeah we seem to have the opposite problem (think it was one of your posts) then as I find healing fine atm (except the problem where it heals yourself but I've gotten used to tht now, not wasting morales as often etc). Whereas I'll often be right behind someone chasing em (directly facing them) and snare still doesn't go off 3/4/5 times in a row (7 was my personal best
). Sometimes it doesn't work, doesn't consume gcd/cd but does the animation and other times it just doesn't apply but *does* trigger cd.
I'm curious about you saying you've got the hang of it though as it's one of the reasons RPs/zeals are even stronger than usual atm, almost impossible to snare em as long as they keep moving... don't you have that problem? I seem to see it a lot

Too much emphasis on getting gear, when - if you group up with some friends and coordinate via TS/Vent/RC - you can get good results. Given that the times when destro and order organise a fight are rare, having a completely twinked-up toon isn't necessary unless you want to solo roam.

Re: How were BG's played in t4?
I don't remember much of the details, other than I played a BG prior to the level or renown level increase, on Badlands. I was fortunate enough to get the purple glaive from the city raid...best glaive available at the time. I had ZERO problems with anyone whatsoever 1 on 1. Very solid class imo...alot of toys to play with. Sword and board just didn't do it for me however.
