I don't think people are grasping the concept that there are no rewards beyond sc weapons for tanks/healers, without the carrot you end up with all the tanks/healers doing rvr for conq medals+ and leaving scenarios dps stacked with no support.
Alot of misinformation in this thread. Suggesting tanks to wear dps sets to do damage is going to end very badly as you will end up getting 12v12 maps where you will take unhealable damage without core survivability. Nothing worse than a tank that doens't have the survivability to guard someone.
Not needing healers to take objectives is also false, as your team without heals will not have the staying power to hold an objective, and will be easily be pushed out and killed and then 5 capped by a smaller force.

i want to state that for RP and Zealot the Scenario sets are viable heal sets too.
i hope we can also agree that the best 2H weapon for most tanks include a speed proc (oRvR).
But the problem is the Playerbase and the mentality ... not the Queue System...
I can ask in 5(lfg) for a dps to duo with for ages, without any response ... just to have the next solo sc pop with 489375435 dps crying about lack of heal/guard.....
I can also assure you that playing a tank/healer in sc solo is just utterly frustrating ... because most of the dps are not used to play in a team
-they dont assist
-they dont stay together
-they dont stay in range
-they dont help their healer in trouble
most of the time queing solo as a healer/tank is just frustrating and you can only hope that you get one of the few dps that actually know how to play in grp.
have you ever played with WHs in a random grp ? The majority plays solo even if they would have the potential support of guard and 2x heal .... out of range, without assist .... (sry to the few who actually know how to play in grp).
this week i had a gates of Ekrund pop with 2 perfect 2/2/2 grps only problem was all the dps were WHs ... we could have totally dominated the sc but the WHs refused to play together , assist each other and stay in range ... instead all 4 of them were roaming solo ...
This is the reason why you dont see many healer/tanks .....

Straight up this tank just doesn't find scenarios anywhere near as fun as oRvR. If I didn't have to grind out that weapon I could have skipped them entirely and not been hurt in the least.
I won't speak for other people but I'd consider doing the opposite and letting those weapons be available for oRvR emblems.

How about adding the RVR sets for x2 of the cost in the price of SC currency and the SC sets for 2x the cost of the price in RVR currency?

The only downside would be adding complexity and an "idiot trap" for new players (who buy the right thing with the "wrong currency" and overpay. Maybe stick the "swapped-currency" gear in a different area?
Personally, I solved the problem by parking my WP at 40/40 and leveling other classes. No thanks to grinding all those tokens out in RvR...
