End-game competitive reason to play?

I'm very much goal orientated as well.

My goal is to see how many times Gunbad can port me back to Altdorf, how many times the server can crash while at 20ish% on a boss in Gunbad, how many times we can clear the PQs only to have the bosses not in residence, and how much buggy PvE I can take before gaining the gear that I have to get before I can even attempt to get the gear I actually want.

That's the stuff that keeps me coming back! Hours of PvE for no result.

Because it is there. And it is better than Fallout 76.

TO be honest I played for everything for gear,renown, experience and fun, but the best was the friends I made along the way and the many who moved on, I play mostly for those few ppl who are like me and can make me laugh or smile after a hard day of work. I noticed now that i get frustrated playing alone cause most my friends moved on our dont log on, I took that for granted at the time, but i play still cause I know great ppl play this game and I can still meet and friend them.
Eventually I will move on cause I feel like recently I have been unhappy, and I blame it to not being able to find the right ppl. But Play for the friends you make and can make the game will be fun with that in mind.
