i can stack 5600 armor, also 10% reduction armor. But u say it is over and useless
Not useless, just limited.
The WS tanks get inherently is the same across the board. It's probobly meant from a design point of view to compliment Parry, as weaponskill both increase damage and surviability and in theory is a desireble stat for a tank.
Yeah but that was removed with the reversion of the defense formula. Now weapon skill gives almost no parry due to the amount of people's strength and is essentially a garbage stat for tanks. Specially tanks that do not deal physical damage.
Yes, I have seen the changed before. WS add only little parry now
other words say WS cant give any defensive function
I dont know why Conq and Beast set give tank WS and the amount is big

It didn't give much Parry when game launched either but the amount of Parry you could gain from gear and renown was extremly limited aswell, so relativly it was much better when archetypes were designed and thereby my theory about why tanks get alot of it. Toughness also capped at attackers defence bonus until it was changed here on RoR, making WS sligtly better when game was released relativly aawell.

Gear does not get changed very often (if at all); People wanted the avoidance formula entirely reverted rather than tweaked; but didn't think about gear sets or melee or physical ranged.
Weaponskill was for pve tanks in AoR.
There was a mass of it put on end game gear in RoR because it WAS good for generating parry.

the Change is good since WS is OP compared with other stats. WS add dmg also parry

You got math for that? Or is that an anecdotal assumption?

You are stating that weaponskill provides damage and parry and that makes it OP.
So you should have math to back up that claim. How much damage and parry does it provide, and is that enough to make it OP. Which also means you know how much strength affects all of your individual abilities and how much dps it can generate.
As for the original topic, ~4400 armor is good for warband environments to counter the average weaponskill for AoE melee

U try Str and armor pen ? one of them is more important. That 's why the best slayer or Mara stack WS but not str

It adds a very small amount of damage and small amount of defence. Less then any other stat add raw damage or defence. Willpower is much more effective in generating dual effect tbh.
Willpower was also at one point during development intended to be magic resistance penetration instead of Disrupt, so healers could use their main stat for dps aswell, (BW/Sorc/Magus all gain WP as a secondary stat) but clashed with the DoK/WP using weaponskill as main dmg secondary stat and probobly the reason it changed. My theory is that Initiative used to be both Dodge and Disrupt at this point as there's still hints that Initiative was the anti ranged stat. Scout Stance for example.

Willpower always had disrupt; even in AoR beta. Of course mythic's formulas meant that it never mattered in PvP. (Had huge benefits in pve against casters)
Weaponskill only provides more damage than strength against tanks that stack armor even more. Which makes it valuable in rvr, due to melee's AoE often time hitting a bunch of tanks. But in small scale, flat armor debuffs strip most of the armor from priority targets making %armor pen and weaponskill nigh useless.
