I ask cos some time ago DEVs warned with bans on destro side (dont know if any1 get banned for it) when RAM where used to block VISION after doors to make it harder to click on targets when doors where down and help on funel

stance has not changed. Siege machines purpose is not to bodyblock doors, this applies for both defending and attacking factions.

I am curious why this emergent gameplay is considered a bannable/suspendable offense. Does it permanently stop the keep take or just provide a bit of a roadbump to Destro's bag collection?

Destro also as a faction use to do this "alot" when ram's didn't disappear on inner when we would defend downstairs of orders keep, lost count of amount of times moving the damn ram and putting it under the stairs because some people thought we needed a unfair advantage... so i wouldn't generalise just one entire faction of a server because of a few individuals on both sides have either inadvertently or advertently acted in a way that is frowned upon. No need to tarnish all with same brush because the majority of both sides never did this.

All you people claiming "use everything at your disposal" should be a viable tactic are insane. AoE lifesteal from shammy/AM could (possibly still can, haven't tested in weeks) heal ram or doors. You really wanna see how fun a siege is when I'm healing our ram for 1-2k every 8 seconds while everyone is tickling it for 50hp an attack, or healing keep doors faster than ram could ever damage em? Some stuff obviously isn't working right at times, abusing those bugs is no fun in a pvp game.

What about putting a ram in the third stair floor because i see the case twice this last days from destro. Personally I m ok with it but if Doors Block is not allowed maybe the body block / hide in third floor def should not be allowed too.
The ban is pretty tough. Maybe édit some warning on launcher or in news if you disagree with some behaviour. It will clear what stratégy can be useful and which should not. Ban Someone without warning is pretty rude but maybe i m wrong

strong warnings or big yellow announcement against this action is required.
ppl keep using this ram block. specially in NA. by veteran players.
ofc from both side. shame.

tank wall funnel is not same as sight block, click block.
why is it so hard to distinguish this simple concept.

Why not just disable ram spawning when under siege? Ur being attacked a ram is the last thing you need imo

Well we did some ninja counter sieges in the past when our keep was under siege. Drawed some destros away from the main siege.

I've seen at least one time where both sides spawned a ram and just tried to race each other with about a 6man on D for both sides, was good times. Don't wanna see us losing options like that.

On an only slightly related note, one time destro flipped the zone after order killed our lord. It was beautiful, very happy we could spawn a ram there too.
