So I'm going to jump in with the current complaints that I'm hearing:

1) Double mechanic (pet, stance - I'm happy to marginalize the pet as much as it can be)
2) No "double stance condition" abilities (this is something I can't do due to not understanding the "requirements" table Mythic used to create "or" conditions on abilities)
3) Poor synergy on pet with trees
4) Lack of equivalent to Marauder's armor pen resistance and healing on Woodsman stance
5) Hunter is not strong enough at the moment
6) Pack Synergy's position in the tree

may i ask why not?

there were games which had the focus on zerg vs zerg or grp vs grp but still were ok balanced for solo play aswell. is it because you dont care about solo play? i am completely ok with the wl changes btw.

Especially if you're going to:

a) comment on 1v1 as if it matters one bit (it doesn't and never will)
b) omit the changes that are tooltipped on Call War Lion regarding the pet's survivability
c) not actually test the pet's survivability or even bother throwing getstats on it
d) ignore that I have to be conservative with major reworks because people get even more angry about OP than they do about UP

Mine, #6, wasn't a complaint.
It's just something to look into if you're going the "full mirror" route.

Okay, let's get serious. I think I can work around the multiple stance requirement problem. What I advocate now is something that I'm sure you'll all find controversial.

- We ignore the RDPS issue with SW and SH being stanced, or try to give SW a unique mechanic later.
- We instead consider MDPS as their own thing, and accept that each side has a stance-based MDPS, a rage-based MDPS and a stealth/finisher based MDPS.

The question is, are WLs that married to the idea of having a pet attack for you, or will you accept conceptually mirroring Marauder?

I'll accept conceptually mirroring the marauder, never liked the pet to begin with.

Losing the reliance on your pet and getting mara stuff seems like a win-win in WB play to me. I'm sad to see the idea of a pet focused spec go (whole reason I rolled my WL) but it never really worked as a "pet class" anyways so not losing anything but the dream I guess. Maybe one day you guys can add a 4th mastery tree to classes and WL/SH+Engi/Magus can get a pet focused tree that really makes them sacrifice personal dps/tankyness/HP/etc. for strong pets with unique abilities 8-P (probably not but a pet lover can dream)

losing pet for mara mirror sounds like a great idea. if you dont care about solo play, there is no reason to have a single class who rules solo play. if you wanna focus on wb or grp the best idea is to mirror mara!

I love the playstyle with the pet. That is the reason i am playing the WL. There was not a problem before the guardian change. The pet should stay of course.

I hope you reverse it and do some little changes and dont plan to make the WL an order marauder.

There was and always has been a problem, and there was on live as well. Pet mechanics on a melee are not workable against good opposition on the 6v6 scale and against almost any opposition on the warband scale.

I am happy to entertain the pet mechanics via tactics, but the core spec should not be pet reliant.
