Return of Reckoning

My meta on chars I wanna play is rr 70. Anything above 70 is just little "+".

i think RR 255 was picked not to be reached but to just never have a cap. If you make it even remotely close to reach, people will just ask for an even higher level. And like Thargrimm has said, killing certain people gets you wild xp, think I got 25kxp and 6krr? from a solo kill as a WH. Now imagine playing a WH with 250 aao. Kill 6 people an hour? Probably netting like 35k rr an hour.

Personally, i think its better than not having anything after 80 but it doesnt make much sense to implement something that is literally impossible to achieve...

I dont get the logic in making it impossible like that but, hey, we've seen crazier stuff

Because if it were 90, people would complain; if it were 100, people would say 'what now?! Do I go outside?! WTF ANSWER ME'.

Making it an impossible number to achieve eliminates those issues (I guess). Some people apparently play for purple numbers, so to them I say: go HAM

I was kinda thinking it was 255 due to some data type restriction, basically 1 byte for the RR variable or something.

It is. It could probably be changed but for now we didn't bothered.

A SM named Chinesehero already dinged RR 255 and then quit the game.

255 mark infinity the intention is to have some sort of ptogression for dedicated players that stick on 1 char. No need to aim the end of the road u need just to feel that u are moving forward not hitting the brick wall

I for one am pleased that they raised the cap. I dont PVE , I dont enjoy PVE content in this game or almost anygame. I like to pvp, I dont play alts ( much ) so being able to keep moving and gaining SOMETHING I appreciated. I know I will NEVER reach 255, Hell prolly never reach 100 but just the fact Im still "earning" is all the motivation for me.
