I see your point, playing safe is all well anf good but lacks adventure.

Either way, there are plenty of gear options both pve and pvp, hell all you have to do is take a cursory look at the wiki for the full list. The main reward of rvr sub-40 is not gear you'll outlevel in a day or two but renown rank.

Didnt played safe much. Also its not valid since i use xp cut pots while intense fights since i hit t4 bracket for sc cause i want
high rr on 40 lvl. Made mistake on my engi once during x2 on christmas and end up with engi 40/22.

Got both my Slayer and Chosen to rr40 before rank 35 without needing pots

You shouldnt expect much from zone bags before 40, you can get a useable piece sometimes, consiser it a bonus.

The reason though is that there are faster more reliable ways to get leveling gear.

I dont really understand the fascination with keeping your rr higher than your level. It doesnt take long to get your rr to 40 once you hit 40.

If you detest PvE then whatever, but its faster to 40/40 if you worry about your level more than your rr. Some of that may be dependent on when you play though.

OP.... Better not get mad, its GMs game or devs game whatever they wish to be called. The game is "alpha" always will be, even though this game is built off of a "finished" mmo that died.

Take this to heart man, if u dont like it move on. Your not going to win. Sadly the lakes sub 40 are a waste of time, might as well stick to scs.

Not trying to dis on devs or anything plz dont take offense.

Biggest complain I've heard and partially experienced is that the upper currency bags that exchange i.e. 1 Officer to 5 Soldier medallion/emblem can be used only when Soldier gear becomes obsolete, same with Obliterator and their SC equivalents.
If the requirement could be lowered by 5 levels - it would be right fit for the progression of any new character and not puzzle newbies with not able to buy Devastator gear until it's too late and they are able to use Annihilator at that level already.

Breaking down med/emb are based off of your rr rank.... Keep that rr higher then your lvl and then no issue
