The gear disparity was far worse on live. Its actually is much much better here, particularly with the bonuses to gear, bolster and even a noob survivability gear set called RUIN (and others).scilly wrote:Ok, i have come here with nostalga from the live servers and i understand it cant be the same. I go to T2 ORVR and i have premade 6 man lvl 40 max geared players ganking me constantly.. Oh im bolstered... yet i dont have 4 tactic points.... i dont have max master abilites.. bolster doesnt bolster crit chances or dodge chances so as a lvl 16 player i get 2-3 shot by lvl 40 chars.. whats the point?
If you are getting farmed hard, then you need to check your gear, spec and positioning. If you are still getting farmed stick to groups or rotate to a different side of this game (like scs or pve in another tier). I will often shift to another class or alt in a totally different tier for example. So dont think you have to lvl your main 100% of the time. The best part of this game is that there are fights everywhere.
