I have to drop rage relative often as a slayer, even with guard. I think an incoming healdebuff would be much better, then deffstats worse then of a light armor wearer.

Slayer already have a flat drawback. Its percentage based taken means it scales with the game. The only issue with slayer is damage aoe damage out from stacking slayers.

Sorry, but it was pretty much what you said. :/ You didn't go into any details about how a heal debuff as Combustion / Dark Magic would destroy the class, you only stated your opinion that it would and then spoke about Slayers.

You realise that on max. combustion the healdebuff would be only 25% higher then the standard 50% healdebuff you get from the meleetrain?
If you don't get any attention from the enemy, you don't need any heals and wouldn't realise any healdebuff on you.
If you get massive damage you have to drop your combustion. Btw there would be always the possibility to spam scorched earth to lower your healdebuff without resetting your mechanic completely to zero.
The healdebuff would only reward smart players and punish no-brainers.

It's the same kind of problem for slayers, that's what i mean:
- when sorc are full comb, they have max backlash
- when slayers are full rage, they have low resistance
And we've here the 2 biggest dps, and you planed to nerf one of them with the 2nd penalty. That's why i spoke about the slayer =)
And about the sorc, you will loose 2/3 to 3/4 of your life for a complete sequence if all skills give you a backlash, and then you have to stop. So if you can only burst on one personn, and then have to calm down, you remove all interests about the class, that's my point of view. =)

I forgot to mention, that the slayer/choppa have many abilitys that force them to drop their mechanic completely. BW/sorc has only one.

Because you can't burst anymore, you have to reduce the DM/comb, wait the heals, etc ...
What about a WH just get out from stealth with debuff heal and stun ? Can't reduce DM/comb, and you're reduce by 75% while stun ... death assured

Agree, but if they didn't you could be sure that slayer/choppa would stay full rage most of the time
