Ok , some ppl can cange it; place cooldown on client( I think every client have a unique ID ).
Sure, how have 2 or more client, can change realm; but I think he is 10-25% of total.

Afaik you don't even have to change the hardware.

No why would you want to ruin fun for people with these lockout shenanigians? I want to play both sides and 90% of times we play with underdog or the side that has opportunity to fight premades in scenarios.
Getting locked out to 1 faction, when your guildies/friends are on pther, and you have to wait hour or 2 for it to end?

Wasnt purpose of this game to have fun and do it with your friends and guildies? The myth that players log for winning side is dumb.

I think a far less arduous path to tread would be finding out who exactly is deliberately xrealming so as to benefit from zerg/the side with higher numbers. Is it a handful of people, or a mass migration of guilds doing this on the regular? I'm also not entirely convinced that xrealming is to blame for people's failings: all I see, day in day out, are people in /t4 - on both sides - blaming 'xrealming' when a zone is lost, instead of looking at their own performances, asking whether or not they really did all that was necessary to win. Maybe you got outplayed? (shun the thought!)

As Saft said above, there are a lot of people who will 'xrealm' in search of fights: our guild does it, as do several others - looking for the challenges, and swapping sides if the balance of power shifts/there are more premades to fight. What's the point in xrealming when you lose contribution on your toons on other realm?

You seriously can't tar everyone with the same brush.

But what do you win? You have less opponents to collect contribution and zerging someone gives you 20rp per kill, that's poor.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Salftrdryck isn't in the business of joining the winning side and zerging people with 3:1 odds. We xrealm when: a) the premades are on the opposing side; b) one side is zerging the living daylights out of the other realm. We aren't alone btw, so perhaps don't put everyone in a box.

MythicEA HAD a timer that was easily bypassed, not goign to ask these UNPAID folks to work to hard on it, and yes some folks DO jump sides to farm AAO.. gettign 3-6 kills out of the herd with a 6man DOES yield greater number rewards than RvHero.....
In fact I think I won more siege loot bags on losing team than I ever did on the capping side.
Most days I play 1 faction before work and the other when I get home, time locks wouldn't bother me anyways.
Also a good chunk of my realm logging, on my days off, is in mid tier sc's, say 1 side is just playing whack a tank instead of the scenario objectives.... or aren't popping at all for 1 faction but the other side is getting insta-pops....and mostly the 2nd reason, usually around the times this or that faction's main RvR zerg is going on, the underdog never having to wait more than 5min to get an SC.
Maybe start having friends and yourself just start black listing the fair weather guys until they get the hint?
