I don't group because I don't play.
I don't play because I need to do SC to get my gear, and I'm not a big fan of SC (to say the least).

I will play again the day I will be able to purchase SC gear with ORvR currency.
And if such a thing is not going to happen, then I will continue to not play.
That's not blackmailing btw, I'm just stating a fact, and I don't expect any dev to implement what I want because of "threats" to not play

But when I was playing, I played mostly the game as a solo roamer. I didn't want to group up because I like to get my own kills, like a self-made gobbo  .

Well if you play only solo, this game is just not really for you. Devs will never link sc and rvr gear to the same currency.

I don't play only solo, just "mostly".
Sometimes group looks fun, like gobbo WB!

Yet on live, you had sets for classes like DoK that were mostly pve/rvr earned. And you never were forced to do pve, but could get all possible "useful" sets from doing RvR, which still happens to be the main focus of the game.
Here certain classes and their different playstyles are very much limited to farming scenarios if they want their "off-gear".

Sure, you have Beastlord, but still best healer-dps sets come from very long Sc grind. Thats 6 classes who will be forced to grind scs, in a game that is based on RvR campaign, if they want to play a gamestyle that does not lock them into healer role. (WP, DoK, AM, Shaman all have specific trees that exist for DPS, RP/Zealot are more spread out)

Maybe it's just a minor issue, and maybe many players don't mind grinding several thousand scenarions so they can get their "off-gear" from doing a minigame. But IMO its wrong.

Allowing Officer Emblems to be converted into Officer Medallions IMO would not be too "easy mode" change, but it would not lock players into doing just one kind of activity in case they do not like the other format.

Sometimes RvR tires me and I understand why some cannot stand it. Sometimes Scs tire me and I very well understand why some hate it. Sometimes getting Conq medals feels way easier than getting Conq emblems, sometimes other way round, it varies.
But luckily for me, I main a WE and Sorc, so Sc gear is "bleh" tier for me, so I never feel like I have to grind scs as there is no realistic end reward that would make me "grind" towards it. (rr39 and rr45 weapon have abysmal difference) But if I were to main a dps tank or dps healer, I would probably easily have burnt out ages ago from having to focus on a minigame to get the gear I want.

It's a tricky one because, as you said, a lot of people don't like RvR, and a lot of people don't like SC, yet they are all parts of the game and, thus, people should have to delve into them - even if it's only occasionally - in order to have the most complete gaming experience. In live WoW, for example, I am 'forced' to do PvE dailies to farm my Artifact Power, which enables me to unlock cool new abilities for PvP. I don't like it, but at least I am engaging in more than just one part of the game, I guess.

I would personally prefer a unified currency as it would enable people to grind their gear by doing what they love the most. Naturally, you'd still have incentives for RvR (subjugator/genesis/overlord and imperator), and it would be cool to equally have some incentives for SC (cosmetics/cool items) - but the gear itself could be acquired via either activity. As Grur said, however, there is little chance of this happening. Perhaps it's for the best, given that we don't know how badly it could affect sc/rvr population (probably the former moreso) if people could get their Dominator gear, let's say, via RvR.

Hey guys,

we DO group up regularly but i can give you an answer what restrains us from doing more 6v6 (besides my own personal preference managing 6v12 in SCs), if that´s too offtopic pls ignore my post. (I try to be more present in the forums)

First of all when we queue, most of the time we queue for everything (besides Battle of Praag maybe...for reasons).
But sometimes after some 6v6 we get rid of the certain queue.

The reason being is the lack of 6v6 honor here (sadly) that greatly annoys me. If you have a decent fight, there is no problem in loosing sometimes and still saying good fight and see you next time. We do win and we do loose some fights, there is no shame in that. We rather enjoy hard fights and like to try new stuff. We do switch our setup regularly depending on who is online in our guild, and therefore sometimes loose against some well attuned guild groups. There is no problem with that all.

One example was most recently:

We had an Isha and our Zealot had DC at the beginning. Of course we said we are just 5 but anyways, let´s do this (because who cares about K/D ratio...). I won´t call any names/guilds but we had a 5v6 where their healers where constantly at their guards, so we ended up hitting DD/Tanks the whole time...

Long story short: we ended up winning, without shittalking, besides a kind "pls leave guards" (because why should we...), and even making space. Still at the end, we got the known "noobs" and other things i won´t write here.

Seriously don´t know what is going on with this WoW-attitude. Hope to see manners coming back to elite groups and passing this on to the new premades and maybe this motivates more people to form groups.

We will continue to try bringing the honor back to decent fights.

As I said earlier, if it is too offtopic pls ignore it, and maybe i start this conversation somewhere else.

Have a nice fight,

Bah... soloing is fun. Grouping was fun. My group from live doesn't play anymore. I think for a lot of people it might be the : ''been there, done that'' feeling. I was in a group that played 5-6 times a week, same hours, same comp, etc. Was a group that played in Daoc, then in WAR, then in WoW. Now we are all older, have responsabilities and we don't play together anymore.

I won't ever get ''that'' feeling I had with them in all probability. So grouping in any tryhard meaningful way seem pointless.

I do feel that a large amount of it is exactly for the reasons that you have said, i.e. been there done that. Is there nothing that would reinvigorate your desire to go tryhard?! :D

Pretty much just a steady group with people that play the game.
Those times I've tried forming a premade on Order, I spent up to 2 hours spamming channels but couldnt find anyone.
