Sory to correct you. if i may? but before the latest RvR merge of t2-4 the peak hours where like 300-400 for last half year something.
It is sadly true that after certain perma bans of people and changes, the population suffered.

Are we talking EU or NA? In EU it was 700ish, I know because I was checking (and still am) numbers to see if our recent changes bring more people. And they do.

EU prime time.
After the recent changes i sayed it is increasing again but before the changes, like 1-2 months ago it rarely got over 300-500 in primetime if i recall corectly.
Not like it matters to much for me tho just wanted to correct it so no misinformation is being spread about the server's population now and in the past.

The population was certainly lower, no doubt about that. I would say it almost doubled now in prime time.

I hope so, it is absolutly no fun atm. I completly like the idea of "global rvr" in the sense of combining T 2-4, but the people are just too much. I thought the goal of this server once was to break the zerg gameplay, but now its the complete opposite.
I thought the goal of this server was to make the game just like it was on live, which includes massive RvR warband vs warband action, just like we had on live.
There are hundreds of good smallscale 5v5 or 6v6 team fight games out there, but there is only one Warhammer game with massive player versus player combat campaigns.
Do you really wish the game goes towards a state of things where you have maybe 20 people roaming in lakes organized into 3-5 groups fighting similar tiny groups, like it was on dying live servers before they were either merged or completely abandoned?
Yes, i wish i would be. This was the most fun time for me actually.
The more people you have in a fight the more quality goes down the drain. The most fun fights i had were 2vs3, 3vs3, 3vs4 and sort like this, because it more comes down to individual play and if you win such a fight, it gives you a more satisfying feeling because you really are a part of the victory. In a huge warband fight I never got this feeling, Zerg boys who dont leave the house with atleast 10 people behind them will most likely never get expierience this.

You are so wrong man, probably cuz you never played in a proper warband environment. Maybe 24 people seems like a lot, but when you fight 2-3 other warbands, the feeling is exactly the same after a great victory. Each member is part of the machine, just like in small groups, you still fulfill your role.

No I'm not wrong man. I have played this game for far too long to know exactly what I'm talking about.

this is not so much true
how good is WB it depend mostly on leader of WB, no much personal skill needed of every member in WB (just spec how leader say, follow leader, and drop morale, drop DPS as leader say) if you are dead sameone from WB will res you, or all WB is dead not much deal
in 6vX if you **** it up noone can heal cros party res cros party all mistake is punish
on live i play both, all archetype in both situation and small scale is harder
for example tank in WB is easist way to play, but in smallscale is hardest to play

yep, a well organized warband is just 4x6mans operating tightly together, focusing same targets, moving in organized formation and taking even bigger challenges like other wbs or multiple enemy wbs. A single 6man can at best take 10-15 people, assuming they achieve surprise and enemy lacks organization to fight back properly. With a good organized you are taking down 20-40-60 enemies down if you play it right.
Some people call it still "mindless zerging", but try fighting 2-3 enemy wbs with your own warband, it's just as challenging as classic 6man activity. Also, assembling a basic 6man that can operate decently enough doesn't take that much time and effort; ofc if you want to become a pro 6man it takes months of running together with same people and each member mastering their respective role. However becoming a good organized warband also requires time and dedication; and have fun assembling 24 people together into a proper setup.
