T1 doesn't show the real strength of most classes. Tanks are almost dps in plate atm doing good damage. But that probably goes for all the tank classes and will change in later tiers.

KotBS damage in t4 might be ok but you were better off having an IB as offensive (second) tank.

What made the class really strong on live was:
- Auras, especially Resist. Don't ever pvp without resist buff.
- Excellent Mastery Point distribution. Perfect snb tri spec with KD, Focused Mending, Slice through
- Slice through (needs an extra point here because its insane). Limited AoE Snare on a 5s CD that is a curse. (Can't be AoE cleansed)
- Best punt in game.
- No Escape Morale (Order overall has better Damage Dump Morales)
- Dirty Tricks
- Insane Block Chance with LotD Weapons. Really hard to get controlled/cc'd unless you expose yourself. For those situations you had IF and RD.
- AoE Stagger. Even after the nerf it was still mandatory for peeling.

A lot of points, but those made it the best defensive tank for control. You still bring an IB though for AoE Snare, outgoing heal debuff and cave in. So yeah.. Only the sword masters had no real use :p

Oh, my... Never take Chosens opinion on Kotbs seriously. They hold the grudge for not beeing able to fill all hotbars with Ravage and be Kings.

Kotbs's "opness" looks very much like bias and baby crying. Dess hate bright feathers, I think.
Even while talking about this dreaded "disenchantment" tactic they humbly forget about shaman kiting capabilities. Let shamans cast only hot on the run. That'll be fair game.

General observation (T4):

In "turtle" build Kotbs is both harmless and useless. In "S&B+buff group" is alot less sturdy, has some use, but It never felt, like those "op" buffs make any big difference against dess zerg. With 2hander Kotbs is kinda squishy and relays on absorbs and, mainly, on player's awareness.

Solo capabilities:

I never used NerfedButtons. It's low and dishonorable (What a retards can't handle 36 buttons? ). So:

T1. It was pain. Sneak in a group with unguarded healer. Leech RR, pray, be patient.
T2. Immense fun. S&B killing machine. But...decent dps dok prevails. No luck for Kotbs.
T3. Still fun, but not a cakewalk anymore. (The only time I seriously tried to use "Destroy confidence" tactic in mass fight. Removed enchantments were reapplied back seconds after and I had to stick to one gobbo to "take care" of him. Felt utterly useless with 4 more dess healers around.)
T4. 2hander build witch max strenght and weapon skill (Runefang, 1k auto-attack). Spanked WEs and Maras  , had tough fights with choppas. Run like hell from dps Bos, because hp dropped faster, than needed 1 moral builds, and easely killed by WEs, while casually walking with S&B in dps build not willing to fight.

This is my perspective and what I can remember now.

Conclusion:

Kotbs has tools for almost any situation, but It requires constant build change (hello, WoW! ), proper gear, a lot of concentration and awareness, if that's considered "op" then screw you! Whant to make a decent class retarded, like sword... ?

PS. Considering Swordmasters - strong absorbs buff can be, actually, enough to "save" them.

Kotbs is op but please, don't nerf him. It would make me sad
Why do you think you are entitled to be OP?
Because of solo-epic-hero mentality many Order players share. It's dess business to miserably zerg.

Oh look. A post accusing other people of bias and stating exactly the opposite opinion held by almost everyone else who ever played Warhammer while offering absolutely nothing but "personal experience" to back it up.

I don't know why you even bothered posting.

A KotBS running from a BO?

Either a troll or a terrible KotBS.

Could be both. But did you missed "dps" part unintentionaly or on purpose?

KotBS was OP 1v1. DPS KotBS (a good one) should beat a DPS BO (a good one) 100% of the time.

Calling out a terrible post doesn't make me touchy, it makes you a terrible poster.

Cant take that post seriously. Its all from the perspective of a solo kotbs.

Ever play in group brah?

The kotbs is the best group utility tank in the game by FAR. Just look at those tactics.
15% extra from wp healspam when you dont have the super rp proc. So you'd always have some healing buff.
Constant 10% crit increase for everyone. **** off sw we don't need you bring another slayer.
One wasn't enough here have another 10% everyone.

What shall I do with the final tactic and 5 spec points.

Why bother. You still have the best tank and a group with massive healing that crits everyone powers up your slayers and gives endless ap. Not only did they make slayer groups the norm they trolled other classes by having multiple tactics that put their best group support to shame. No other class shits on the HE as much as kotbs.

Endgame was all about crits and wp heal spam. Kotbs took that to a whole other level.

After playing a bit more and checking the cooldown on the auras, the cooldown resets everytime an ally or an enemy gets in range, makes juggling just about impossible, unless you're doing 1vs1.
